Fantastic
What an amazing stay at Grand Hotel Ortigia! From the spacious room, to the excellent rooftop breakfast. It was a wonderful stay! The location was superb and the private beach was a wonderful plus. I can’t wait to return one day.

one of the best hotels we have stayed at in recent memory. the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfasts were amazing, and the staff were so friendly and beyond helpful! highly recommend!

This is a fabulous old style hotel brought up to date in a really good location for Ortigia. The rooftop restaurant and terrace have a beautiful view and breakfast has a very large choice and is very good. The staff are extremely attentive and all seem to have the freedom to chat to guests like human beings and not "5 star robots". A welcome change.

We stayed here for two nights and were extremely disappointed, especially considering this is supposed to be a five star property. Our first night we were put in a room where the bathroom had a horrid smell that spread to the entire room. The room was also on the same floor as all the cleaning staff which was very odd. They offered us nothing in return for this very disappointing night. Do not recommend staying here.

Location. Everything within 5-10 minutes walk. Breakfast excellent. You can order certain items of your choice. Staff very helpful. Only downside was no gym! Not even dumbbells or stretchband. Rest was good.

The hotel is beautiful and the first night I was there I was in a really cool room with a loft. I left for a week and then came back and stayed another night. This time the room was underneath the restaurant and was super loud until well after 11 PM. But overall, it’s a lovely property and very well located.
