Hotel Giada

Hôtel en de transit seulement. Air climatisé très léger et coule dans la chambre. Une personne d'entretien devait venir et jamais arrivé. On nous offre le déjeuner en compensation. Arrivé au déjeuner c'est des croissants mis sur une table avec plein de mouches autour, aucun semblant de service.

Clean room, amazing staff and service

The hotel front desk staff was incredible. The hotel was in a great location, very close to the train station and walking distance to the colosseum. The room was a little small but it is Rome so that's to be expected. As a family it was very nice to have 3 beds.

I felt like the rooms were really small and the sheets were not that well cleaned.

We loved the hotel!! Very centric around everything most conveniently 4 minutes walk to Termini. Franchesco the receptionist guys was very kind and welcoming 🙏 Grazie mile 🙏. We highly recommend this place. All the people overall was very nice and friendly.

The room was ok, as it looks in the pictures with good air conditioning. The main problems was that there wasn’t hot water to shower. We talked to the staff about it but they didn’t do anything. The hotel building is old which is ok but the elevator was awful, the walls were all written and made very loud noises.

The place was clean and bathroom was nice. Right next to the train station so convenient for that reason.

It is the most dirty bathroom that I’ve ever seen. It smells like sewage water, spreading the smell to the bedroom. We asked the staff about the smell and they changed our room on the second day. The new bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the bathtub would leak water. The bathtub was also very high, which made it risky to enter. The rooms walls were also dirty and there was an exposed wire of the side. The mattresses were also very hard.

Close to the train station, so convenient

We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM and immediately began the check-in process. After 10 minutes, the staff member assisting us didn’t say anything and kept staring at his computer. When I asked if there was a problem, he nervously smiled and said yes without explanation. I asked for clarification, and he told me my reservation showed the 27th–28th, even though I had already paid around €80 to change it to the 25th–26th. I showed him the invoice from the Expedia app, which he photographed. After about 20 minutes, I mentioned I needed to retrieve my luggage from a nearby storage while he resolved it, but upon returning, he told me it was better to come back the next day, as the date change didn’t appear in his system. I had already explained that my return flight was the next day, so that wasn’t an option. I requested a refund, which he denied. I stressed that this needed to be resolved, as I had paid and spent over two months trying to contact them, and even Expedia received no response. Finally, around 11 PM, we were given a double room with broken curtains, a damaged toilet lid, and a bathtub in terrible condition. The service was extremely unprofessional. They only gave us the room because the lobby was crowded. This felt almost like a scam.
