Great stay at the Mandalay Bay with my kids (15 and 13 years old) and dog. The wave pool and lazy river were both great. The entire hotel environment was pleasant.

Our suite was lovely and immaculate. And that’s about all I have to say that’s a positive. Very disappointed with our trip, so much so we left a day early! Given the price you pay to say here there’s not even a complimentary bottle of water in your room. The ‘mini bar’ was extortionate and came with a hefty feee for ‘restocking. Yes we bought water elsewhere but couldn’t keep it cool as the fridge has sensors. 42° heat and no parasols at the pool (if you’re lucky enough to grab a lounger) unless you pay a premium for a special lounger. Food and snacks are the pool were $$$ - I paid $16 for a Pepsi that was 80% ice! Lots of restaurant options, again pricey. And don’t get me started on navigating the place. The hotel and city itself are awful to get around in - add to that the place being packed to the rafters and it was total chaos. Best part of our stay was leaving!

Toenail clipping in room by window (gross!). Not vacuumed by chairs. Food was pretty good in hotel. Get to wave pool by 9:30 am or you might not get a lounge chair. Long wait line at check in (about 40 minutes!)
