Compared to other paid tours in Australia, which often cost one to two thousand dollars, this one offers excellent value for money. We chose the 4 PM departure, and it was fantastic to see both the sunset and the night view. The scenery along the riverbanks, with houses built on boats, was beautiful!

All the staff were polite, and the singer was excellent, knowing how to create a great atmosphere. There isn't much of a night view on the Gold Coast, so if I had to choose again, I'd opt for the lunch cruise. I've been on a dinner cruise in Sydney before, and both the scenery and food were noticeably higher quality there.

Scanning the QR code for e-tickets was incredibly convenient and fast for entry! This time, I was lucky enough to see a massive humpback whale leap out of the water, along with playful dolphins swimming alongside and a stunning sunset over the sea. The scenery was truly breathtaking and incredibly therapeutic! The boat had clean restrooms, and although the indoor cabin was a bit stuffy and warm, and those prone to seasickness are advised to take motion sickness medication in advance and spend time on the deck for fresh air, seeing the whales firsthand made it all absolutely worthwhile. Highly recommended! Itinerary: Thumbs up! 👍

The HOTA Cruise & Dine Experience Pass was such a great way to explore the Gold Coast! The hop-on hop-off ferry made it easy to visit different stops at my own pace while enjoying beautiful views along the river. The staff were friendly, the boarding process was smooth, and the ferry was clean and comfortable.
I especially loved how relaxing the cruise was—it gave me a different perspective of the city compared to traveling by car or tram. If you’re visiting the Gold Coast and want a convenient and scenic way to get around, I definitely recommend this experience. It was well worth it!
