we were really impressed with the professionalism of the workshop. we were guided and had practice sessions before getting onto our glasses. we chose the clear glass that comes with the package. if you want another choice u might have to pay an additional cost. we got to choose a. design. we had a great time. easy to find too.

had an amazing time participating in the kiriko glass experience through Klook. The studio was well-organized and welcoming. The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive throughout the session. Even as a complete beginner, I felt confident and inspired to express my creativity. They explained each step clearly and gave helpful tips, all while encouraging us to enjoy the process. I’m so proud of the glass I made—it’s a one-of-a-kind souvenir that will always remind me of this unique cultural experience. I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Japan who wants to try something creative, relaxing, and meaningful.

I had scheduled for four people, but one of my group couldn't make it. They were quite understanding and allowed me to make two glasses to make up for the missing person. Very important to note that on top of the cost of the class, you will need to select a glass. Some of the glasses do have an additional cost. I'm not sure if there is an included glass that isn't a special color. Finally, there is a good selection of glass colors, but I recommend calling ahead of time to see if they can provide a description of what colors are available. Overall 11/10 would attend again.

A quick course on glass cutting in a small workshop on the secone floor of a glassware shop. The guide was proficient in English and provided guidance and suggestions when it came to the techniques you'd need to use to produce the design you wanted. All in all a very good value for the money experience. do note that a clear glass (you choose the shape) in included in the ticket price, but if you want to have coloured glass it costs extra, in the range of ¥2000-¥5000.

I really liked this class! I honestly just wish we'd had a bit more time, the hour and a half goes by fast and I wasn't able to be as precise and detailed with my cuts at the end. However, our teacher was very patient and spoke excellent English. I didn't get a lot of hands-on help, but I think there were just too many people for that. She did help critique me what she could. On the whole, I think this was a very fun experience, and it would be even more fun with friends or family.

Booked the experience voucher through Klook and am always satisfied with their clear instructions on how to get to the venue. Conveniently located just 1 min walk from Exit 4 of Asakusa Station on Ginza Line. The ground floor is a shop front, where the staff greets you then led me up to the workshop area on Level 2, just beside the shop. You'll have to remove your shoes there and given room slippers. The session started with me choosing the shape & size of my glass, from a selection of shot glass, sake glass, to whisky and regular, with a variety of colours too. Klook's package only includes the experience and the most basic clear glass. For other colours and shapes, you'll have to top up. I paid another JPY1100 for mine. After choosing the glass, I was asked to select the base design, most of which they have stencils for, or for the artistically inclined, you can also draw your own. The instructor then went on to do a live demo on how to use the buffering machine, then I got to practice a few rounds before doing it on my glass. The instructor was extremely patient and encouraging, constantly reassuring me with 'oh very nice, very cute, very good'. While it appears to be a group activity, with 5 of us during my session, the instructor was largely attending to us individually. While she showed me how to use the machine, the rest were choosing their designs, then while I practice, she did the demo for whoever was ready next. I like the personal attention. Once it's all done, she cleaned up the glass and they even provide a photo area with proper lighting and white backdrop where you can take pretty photos and videos. Once you are done, it gets wrapped up with foam and packed into a box nicely. The entire experience took almost 90 mins, I enjoyed it very much and am happy to have my very own, exclusive Edo Kiriko Glass.

My husband and I really enjoyed this activity. It gives you an appreciation of the art form and when you see intricate Edokiriko glassware in the shops, you know how difficult it is to create and the time that would go into each piece. I wanted to go again and try to create something else but we ran out of time.

Thanks for a fantastic class learning glass etching! It was so interesting to learn the techniques used - it’s harder than it looks!!! The teacher was amazing & very helpful 😊

Very easy to find right outside of the end of the Ginza line. We had plenty of time to work on our glass and were pleasantly surprised with what we made! highly recommend.

we had the best time learning how to craft edo style glass was so much fun. very interesting and lots of designs to choose from. we opted for a more expensive glass and I just love how they turned out.
