Don’t skip this when you are in Hanoi and make sure you get Michael as your guide. The vehicle is comfortable and passengers get picked up and dropped off at hotel so long as you are in Old Quarter. Water is provided during the trip. The lunch is a set family style meal which is more Chinese-Viet than authentic Vietnamese but adequate and filling all the same. The places visited are essential to understand Vietnam’s history and Michael provided detailed and interesting facts about each site. I was surprised some “facts” I thought about Vietnam for a while are not correct. My appreciation and understanding of this country has improved with this visit. The tour is informal and Michael happily accommodates our questions as we move along. He looks after all his participants and accommodates requests if he is able. I will definitely come back and look for him again as a guide.

Our tour guide Michael is very passionate & took great efforts to explain the history, facts & culture of Vietnam in an engaging way & with a good sense of humour. He also demonstrated the warmth & hospitality of the Vietnamese people. In addition, he is proactive to welcome any queries that we have & go the extra mile in accommodating our requests. We truly appreciated his dedication & enthusiasm. The visits to Ethnology Musuem, Hoa Lo Prison and Ho Chi Minh are eye-openers for my family. The tour is really insightful & has deepen my understanding of this country. Highly recommended.

日本語ツアーを申し込みしていましたが、人数が集まらないため英語ツアーに振替えました。差額は当日現金で返金されました。英語があまり分からない私たちでも充分理解できる内容でツアーを楽しむことができました。個人で訪れるには遠いし場所だったし、ガイドさんの説明があったおかげで詳しく知ることができました。クチトンネルに行きたい人にはこのツアーに参加することをお勧めします。

We had a fantastic time on the Hanoi in a Day tour! The tour started with only 8 of us, and by the second half, it was just the 4 of us since some tourists had to catch their flights. The tour bus was very comfortable, and the itinerary was followed perfectly. One of the highlights was the yummy lunch included in the tour—delicious local dishes that added to the overall experience! We had a great mix of sightseeing and learning about Hanoi’s history. It was not only memorable but also very informative. Our tour guide was amazing, and he even took some great photos for us along the way! Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Hanoi in a day!

Our tour guide Anh, was such a great guide around Hanoi's historically significant places. I really appreciated all his explanations and stories about each place. He was very patient and nice. The pick up and drop off experience was smooth. My friend and I really enjoyed the lunch as well!

Best Tour guide with extra skill in photography!~Vũ Quang Anh. Yep that is his name. It was very informative and enjoyable. The lunch was also sumptuous with meat and veggies and soup included and best thing u can even ask for rice for free with their set menu included in the package for this activity.

Guided tour. Easy to follow. Despite a large group, we all managed to learn the history and highlights of Hanoi. Don’t miss. Great value considering lunch, water and transportation all included. The bus driver and the happy man tour guide were awesome!

From the moment we started, Anh’s warmth, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of the city brought every stop to life. We visited iconic sites like the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature, and Trấn Quốc Pagoda, each filled with rich history and stunning architecture. The highlight was navigating the bustling Old Quarter, where Anh’s local insights led us to hidden gems. His positive energy and storytelling made the day both engaging and seamless, ensuring we experienced the best of Hanoi in just a short time. Highly recommended!

It was a great value for money! We went to around seven locations and it was so informative, our guide Ming was very excellent. The lunch they provided was also very good (rice set with veggies, plate of chicken dish, beef dish, eggrolls, spring rolls), I honestly did not expect such exquisite lunch! The driver was able to navigate through busy street of Hanoi and drove us safely back to the hotel. Very comfortable and we also picked up some souvenirs from the one day experience. It was super fun and accommodating! 10/10!

If you only have a day in Hanoi, this tour will give you a great overview of Vietnamese culture. Our tour guide, Anh, was knowledgeable and took good care of us. The transport was comfortable, and we enjoyed being part of a large group, which allowed us to meet new people. Lunch was excellent too. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking and dress in modest but comfortable clothes for the visits to the temple and Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum.
