It was a fun and educational tour about Hanoi’s landmarks. We were in awe to see Uncle Ho’s well preserved body. Our tour guide Lily was so informative and patient in answering our questions. Just be prepared to do a lot of walking and remember that pagodas and temples do not allow sleeveless tops and short shorts. Also, we didn’t know that there was a lunch provided so it was really worth it and got to try other Vietnamese food.

It was a great tour overall! We covered a lot of ground but it also did not feel rushed. Our tour guide Hue (Lily) was great! She was super knowledgeable about many historical things and tidbits on Hanoi and you can feel her enthusiasm in wanting to share it. Worth a try if you have a day to spend going on a tour :)

Turul orașului Hanoi a fost grozav, mai ales cu ghidul nostru, Hue. Hue cunoaște foarte bine orașul Hanoi și cultura vietnameză și ne-a oferit un tur excelent. Stăpânește bine limba engleză. Este o persoană minunată și aș dori să o am din nou ca ghid. Prânzul a avut un meniu fix, iar porțiile au fost prea mici. De asemenea, nu a inclus nicio băutură. Acesta este un aspect care ar fi putut fi îmbunătățit.

O experiență minunată! Ghidul nostru, Kien, a fost foarte informativ și amuzant. Ni s-a oferit apă, ceea ce este bine, deoarece doar câteva localuri aveau apă potabilă gratuită. Autobuzul a fost confortabil și sigur. Am putut să ne lăsăm obiectele de valoare în autobuz/microbuz în timp ce făceam turul.

We had a fun and informative Hanoi City Day Tour and learned so much about Vietnam’s history and culture. The biggest highlight was visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and having the rare opportunity to go inside and see the preserved body of Ho Chi Minh—an unforgettable and meaningful experience. We also visited Khuê Văn Các at the Temple of Literature, the landmark featured on the 100,000 VND banknote! Hỏa Lò Prison was equally eye-opening, showing us the harsh conditions prisoners endured and reminding us how fortunate we are to live in the present day. The tour involved plenty of walking and standing, so expect tired feet, but every stop was worth it! A friendly reminder for group travelers: please be punctual and attentive to the guide so everyone can stay on schedule. A tiring but rewarding day filled with history, learning, great photos, and wonderful memories!

tour guide accommodated me to and changed the pick up location when I was about to be late. he was very warm and friendly and knowledgeable of the spots. tour was very organized and on the spot.

I had a good trip even though the hcm mausoleum is closed. The temple of literature was atmospheric. hanoi hilton was slightly scary, and we went on the first day of the eight lunar month so there were lots of locals praying at the pagoda which is quite cool. lunch was delicious and very filling if you can eat all kinds of meat.
