I recently booked the “Sunrise at Punthuk Setumbu, Borobudur Temple, with Merapi Jeep Ride” trip through Klook, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Udik, was exceptional. He made sure everything ran smoothly and added thoughtful touches throughout the trip. After the breathtaking sunrise at Punthuk Setumbu, Udik bought us snacks for the descent and later took us to enjoy Kopi Luwak while we waited for our special access to Borobudur Temple. Despite booking just one day in advance, we managed to get Session 2 for the temple visit, thanks to Udik’s efficiency. Udik was incredibly respectful and helpful, assisting us with taking numerous photos to capture the memories. I highly recommend him and this tour to anyone looking for an enriching and well-organized experience. Thank you Udik, for making this trip so special!

Dian is a fantastic driver and guide! He arrived right on time for hotel pickup, speaks fluent English, and made the entire day smooth and enjoyable. He even hiked up Punthuk Setumbu with me so I could enjoy the sunrise without feeling rushed. He was incredibly patient while waiting during my Borobudur tour and the 4x4 Merapi Jeep excursion. Beyond his professionalism, Dian is extraordinarily generous, he treated me to local salak (snake fruit) to snack on and took me to try amazing, authentic Sate Klathak. Overall, he is a top-tier host who truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommended!

非常早起床！Estri 很親切，去看日出的小徑那天沒有路燈，超級可怕，我一個人摸黑走上山，好險後來還有人一起上山，那天看不太到日出雲很多，但是結果變成超級美的山嵐霧氣，當地的小哥幫我拍照，順便跟我要了小費，由於獨旅沒人幫忙拍照也是答應了，婆羅浮屠的確是很有特色的地方，但似乎都要跟著導覽一起，結束後還有去吉普車，坐在吉普車開在小徑裡我覺得我好像電動的場景我非常有感覺，最後在水裡開吉普車弄濕，真的很有趣的一天！

Sadly didnt get sunrise at Setumbu, but at Borobudur got the first session at 8.30 and its good. Then went to the Merapi Jeep Tour, didnt got view of the Merapi because covered by cloud and fog. Based on info from locals, better visit at the morning to Merapi, the sky is clear.

Our driver Supri pick us up at 3.30am sharp. He's very pleasant and giving us a lot of information about the history of Borobudur. The ride was smooth. When we arrive at the temple our guide took us on a tour around the temple explaining the history of the temple before the sunrise. Then he found a perfect spot for us to view the sunrise which was awesome. He even held us to take beautiful and memorable photographs. The buffet breakfast was good. After breakfast Supri took us to a luwak coffee shop which was actually not in the itinerary which was amazing. The trip to Mt Merapi was really adventurous with the jeep ride and we really enjoy it although it was raining. Thks Supri for the memorable time we had in Yogjakarta.

we had a great time! our guide, Udik, went above and beyond to give us an unforgettable trip. I would recommend this package as a bunch of history nerds. for ladies, personally I think it’s fine to wear a dress even though you get on a 4x4. just take note that in the Merapi portion of the tour, there’s an option to pay for a longer ATV ride where you go through a river (and will get wet) so plan ahead for that. also, bring a hat and an umbrella — it gets hot! even though I am from SEA and am used to the humid weather, it was still very warm. overall, this was a great experience!

Driver Joko was very good! He personally walked with us to the base of the borobodor when we reached early and got to take photos with no people! Merapi jeep tour was also nice and uteh gave us a fantastic experience

Beautiful sunrise from the Merapi mountain and Borobudur is a must-visit in Yogyakarta. Just a bit pity that we couldn’t clearly see the Merapi volcano during the Jeep tour because the sky was too cloudy.

Great experience! Our driver Dian was fluent in English, and gave us good local food recommendations. He was punctual and patient. we managed to catch the sunrise, and had a great time at the temple. The Jeep tour had a dry and wet option, and best to bring a change of clothing if you are going for the wet option.

We had an amazing family trip and were very happy with our driver, Sulis. He arrived on time and drove safely. The car was clean and comfy too. Sulis also helped to queue and secure the spot for lunch for us since the restaurant was quite crowded at that time. What we appreciated most was how kind he was. We always feel safe on the road and well taken care of. The local guide at Puncak Setumbhu, Merapi and Borobudur are very attentive and friendly as well. We truly recommend this service to any family looking for an enjoyable travel experience.
