Tur privat cu jeep-ul în Yogyakarta Merapi Kaliadem

Arrangement for pick up was well communicated the day before and agency clearly addressed the additional questions we had on the medium & long route upgrade. Driver was also punctual to pick us up from hotel and handed us over to the jeep driver (also guide). The sunrise view at the bunker honestly wasn’t the best compared to other sunrise I’ve caught in Indo, but the close up view of Merapi when sun is up is truly breathtaking, and the coolness in the morning is a plus. The guide was very friendly and helpful, but with English not being his first language, explanations regarding the eruptions etc. at the various stops became repetitive - not complaining, just sharing. Got to interact with some owls at one of the stops which was a surprise bonus for an animal lover myself!! We upgraded to long route and trip started at 4am and we reached back hotel around 9am. Bring a jacket if you’re afraid of cold; the wind against your skin on the jeep ride in the morn can be chilling.

Thought the price was a bit steep but then I realized that there were 2 parts, first driver to bring you from the city to the tour HQ, then transfer to a jeep with an English speaking guide (not just a driver!). He followed us almost to every place and during the museum tour, even gave us explanations. Also took great photos and videos!! Very knowledgeable about the volcano and its history, enhanced the whole experience and makes the price totally worth it!

A meritat pe deplin să ne trezim devreme pentru acest tur la răsărit. Am fost preluați la ora 4 dimineața de la hotelul nostru și duși la locația unde ne-am transferat în jeep-ul nostru. Turul nostru cu jeep-ul a inclus Bunker Kaliadem (de asemenea, punctul de observație al răsăritului), Piatra Alien, Mini Muzeul și Kalikuning (un serviciu suplimentar aranjat prin operatorul DeJong Asia). Privitul răsăritului deasupra Muntelui Merapi a fost liniștitor, cu priveliști uimitoare ale vulcanului și ale peisajului înconjurător în lumina dimineții. Șoferul nostru de jeep a împărtășit informații și povești pe parcursul turului, împreună cu gândurile și experiențele sale personale ca rezident a cărui casă a fost distrusă în timpul uneia dintre erupțiile anterioare ale Muntelui Merapi. De asemenea, ne-a făcut fotografii și videoclipuri frumoase pe tot parcursul turului!

Mount Merapi is definitely a must go attraction in Yogyakarta. Where can u can get close to a live volcano which is still having a small eruption 2 months ago. We were brought close the 4km radius but unfortunately we couldn't see the top bcos of the cloud. But on the way to the place, were able to see the whole volcano from the car. The jeep driver which is also our guide could speak good English and able to explain all the stuff and being a local who lives within 6km radius when it last had a big eruption in 2009/10. The jeep ride was an experience for my wife and kids. The water ride through the river bed, if want to do it, must wear rain coat. U will definitely get wet. We chose not to do it as I think even with rain coat, it will still get wet. Moreover, it was quite a dry river bed and when the jeep rode over, brought water and sands as well.

a little too expensive for a nearby destination from Yogja. Pick up was punctual but my driver still learning to speak English so we have minimal conversation. However, the jeep guide Fanny was amazing! He lent me his jacket when I forgot to take mine and it was quite cold in the morning, he didn’t drive fast so I won’t catch much wind and his command of English is so good that we held a decent conversation on hiking. The sunrise or Merepi didn’t happen cos we had a heavy fog but still we went ahead and I got to see some nice lava rocks along the way. Fanny took some nice photos with his jeep despite Merepi didn’t appear but no one to blame as it’s weather. He was detailed at the museum and didn’t rush through so i understand what happened over those volcano eruptions. Amazing guide I had and thank you Fanny.

Sangat recomended ikut Private Jeep Tour Merapi di Yogyakarta. Kami dijemput di stasiun kereta api saat tiba dan diantar ke hotel setelah selesai tour. Driver kami Pak Budi dan Pak Antoni sangat membantu dan ramah sekali. Tour berjalan dengan baik meski cuaca mendung sehingga gunung tidak terlalu kelihatan. Perjalanan menggunakan jeep ini sangat mengesankan, sayang sekali jika ke Yogya tidak mencobanya.

雄大なムラピ山の自然を手軽に満喫できます。被災したお家をそのまま利用した博物館は、展示品が生々しくて、胸に迫るものがありました。送迎付きなのでとても楽です。ドライバーさんもガイドさんも親切で、ストレスなく楽しめました。雨季は、朝に雨が降っていなくても午後になると雲が出て山が見えなくなるので、早めの時間がおすすめです。

Unforgettable Sunrise at Mount Merapi! We had an amazing experience on the Mount Merapi Sunrise Tour. The early morning wake-up was absolutely worth it—we were lucky enough to witness some lava flow just before sunrise, which was a breathtaking sight. Our jeep guide, Faja, was fantastic—friendly, laid-back, and had a great sense of humour that made the experience even more enjoyable. The scenery was stunning throughout, and we also learned a lot about the history of Merapi's eruptions. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area!

Driver contacted one day before the trip, confirming place and time o pick up. Came right on time. Smooth journey. Change to jeep, another 20min journey to sunrise point. Cold breeze, you can see lava from the volcano. Plenty of tourist at the sunrise point, spend time to snap pic and just relax there. There is 2 more stop point after that, the Alien stone and the house remains. Got to interact with owl at the stop. Our driver were kind enough to stop for breakfast OTW back to hotel. Ended right on time at 9am. Recommended.

O aventură uimitoare cu Jeep-ul dumneavoastră privat prin zone rurale, cu vulcanul erupând chiar în fața dumneavoastră. Uimitor. Șoferul a fost Estri și a fost cea mai prietenoasă și amabilă, făcând mici modificări în beneficiul nostru!
