Our guide Cristina was so lovely, caring and passionate about her job! Very knowledgeable, we saw things and learnt about things we had not expected. My Mum is a well into her 70’s and Cristina was always looking out for her. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

From the start, Cristina welcomed us with warmth, energy, and genuine enthusiasm. As we drove through both ancient and modern Rome, she gave us a wonderfully curated overview of the monuments, blending facts, legends, and personal insights in a way that was both engaging and educational. The golf cart was the perfect way to explore so much without the usual fatigue. The highlight, of course, was the visit to the catacombs. Walking through those quiet, ancient tunnels was a powerful experience — one that carried a sense of spiritual humility and historical wonder. If you’re considering this tour — don’t hesitate. We had such a great experience on our catacombs tour. Our guide was so informative, but also incredibly kind and easy to be around. He picked us up in a little golf cart, made sure we were taken care of the entire time, and even brought us back when we were done. He was super accommodating, respectful, and just an all-around wonderful person. It was truly a pleasure having him as our guide.
This golf cart tour to the Appian Way and the catacombs was marvellous. Our driver and guide, Cristina was wonderful - enthusiastic, friendly and very helpful. The drive from near the colloseum took us past a range of sites along the way. Christina gave us a great commentary on each, and being in an open air golf cart was a great thrill to our 10 year old granddaughter. To walk on the Appian Way on the same paving stones as people in ancient Roman times was a memorable experience.
Driver was very informative. We were very appreciative that he gave us the option to stop and enter the chaple marking the place where Jesus appeared to Peter .
