This was the perfect tour to experience Sun Moon Lake in a day - thank you to Jacky Chen for being a great guide and made sure everyone is constantly comfortable and aware of meet times and what to expect next. All travel accommodations and instructions to meet were well organized. I do recommend you eat breakfast and/or pack some snacks you wont have lunch break until about 2pm Once you arrive to SMLake, (1-2) optional bike ride $200 NTD for a reg single bike or $500 NTD for an ebike with 2 seats. There is a point where you need to walk your bike for about 7 mins. (3)Enjoyed these fruit popsicles at the store behind the shrimp chip vendor at the Pier. (4) Tea egg at the temple is packed w a lot of flavor. (5-6) lunch is at a village market area- Bring extra cash as a lot of vendors in SMLake are cash only. i enjoyrd these cute frog egg waffle that has a sun and moon imprint on its back by a vendor near the 7-11, $80NTD. Bring ziploc bags to pack anything you cant finish! :)

Tommy este un ghid turistic excelent, iar turul de o zi la Lacul Sun Moon este cel mai bun tur, în ciuda celor 3 ore de călătorie din Ximen, merită totuși timpul dumneavoastră, deoarece locul este foarte frumos, unde vă puteți bucura cu adevărat, mai ales dacă sunteți cu familia. Recomand cu căldură acest pachet turistic, în special în timpul sezonului cireșilor înfloriți. Sunt 100% mulțumit de acest serviciu, deoarece întreaga călătorie a fost lipsită de probleme. It was a great experience. I loved the whole tour despite the hot summer weather. Our driver, Steven, speaks English well and cold convey message clearly to all participants. He managed the time alloted for our stops. We were able to buy gifts or pasalubongs before visiting the Sun Moon Lake. He gave all the information about the Sun amoon Lake and the frequency of travel of the ferries in different stations and as well as oue meeting time. He even recommended affordable foods, dining at the shopping street. He is also very good in taking pictures. He’s accommodating and has an outgoing personality which we all appreciate. We all had fun on our Nantou Day tour. I highly recommend this especially for first-time travellers like me. Very convenient that you have a private van goong from Ximending to Nantou County which is about 3.5 hour-drive away from the city.

From his unique way of introducing us the geography of Taiwan, cultural sites, key attractions and activities the could be experienced in Sun Moon Lake, this complete tour made us impressed on how he handled it. Our guide Jachy Chan was very good and experienced. The lake is beautiful and it's quite a relaxing trip. The drive is very long on the best so I recommend being prepared with snacks. They give you water. Thankfully, the weather was good but you should be prepared for the sun and heat. We can't ride bicycles so we took the pedestrian trail. It's fine as we took the included boat ride anyway to see more of the lake so you don't miss anything.

This tour was a much needed breather! Sun Moon Lake is a peaceful core. It’s giving calm and refreshing reset. The water is insanely clear, the mountains hit from every angle. Biking around the lake is a must. The boat ride is also super relaxing, like zero stress, just vibes and fresh air. The local snacks are tasty, and everything feels slower in the best way possible. Our tour guide, Jackie Chen is really funny and he made sure we are well taken care of. He also explained the history of the sun-moon lake. Will definitely recommend him and this tour! 🧡

Great arrangement, plenty of time to explore. Renting a bike is recommended. We did an electric powered for 2, additional 700 NTD. Guide also shared a lot of insights. Cruise is included. Could have chosen a longer stay as 1 day is definitely not enough.

At first, thinking about the distance from Taipei, I expected the tour to be a bit of a hassle — but I was completely wrong! It turned out to be such a laid-back and relaxing experience. Thanks to Mr. Stephen’s excellent driving skills, we even managed to catch some sleep on the road. He was not only a great driver but also knowledgeable, entertaining, and incredibly kind. Sun Moon Lake is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful destinations we’ve ever visited — easily our favorite! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I’m so glad we didn’t hesitate to book this tour. It was truly worth it.

Great tour to SunMoon Lake! The bus trip there and back went quite quickly listening to the commentary (thanks Jackie Chen!) and quick rest stops. Was definitely worth setting aside a whole day to explore outside Taipei. Upon arrival we had the chance to rent bikes (the e-bike was fun! but quite flat around the lake so pushbike would be fine to hire as well). Then took the boat to explore a few more stops around the lake... felt there was enough time to have a wander around on each without feeling too rushed. Overall a great tour! Thanks Taiwan! 🇹🇼

Tommy made me a great journey to Sun Moon Lake. Given a little bit of introduction to Taiwan language and history, and it was also helpful. The weather is so nice where the lake is located, so you should have a visit
