The room was clean and the location was good for walking around with lots of food and stores and not far from the night market.

Pros: This hotel quickly became one of my favorites during our Taiwan trip. It's a Japanese-inspired, minimalist property that makes excellent use of space without sacrificing comfort. Though compact, the hotel is thoughtfully designed and feels freshly refurbished — more like a proper business hotel. There's even a tiny elevator at the back! The amenities were well-equipped, and the carpeted floors added to the comfort. A surprising highlight was the toilet — fully electronic, complete with a warm seat and a bidet function. It genuinely added a touch of luxury to the stay. The lighting was pleasant, and overall, the space felt cozy, clean, and modern. Easily one of the most comfortable stays on our itinerary. It is just a 2-minute walk to DaDaoCheng Wharf. Be sure to time your travel to catch the gorgeous sunset and the glowing skyline. Cons: The entrance is discreet and may take a moment to locate — there’s no prominent hotel facade, so keep an eye out. There’s no front desk; all check-in is self-service via a kiosk machine. You’ll need to contact the hotel in advance (usually via their Line account) to receive the building access passcode — be sure to do this before your arrival. Daily housekeeping isn’t automatic, but requests can be made via Line. The towels provided were functional, though a bit worn — one had a small hole. I personally didn’t mind, but if you're particular about towel quality, it might be worth bringing your own.

This was a low-budget option so I wasn't expecting much to begin with. But the check-in process was quite the hassle. The inn was not easy to find, as there were no signs outside the establishment. Need a code to enter the building, which you need to acquire through SNS communication with the hotel staff. The check-in process is automated, so I needed to request a verification ID through SNS. The hotel staff seems quite negligent in this process (they sent me the wrong passcode for the main gate the first time, and didn't send me a verification code until I told them that my name hasn't been registered in their check-in system.) The room itself is acceptable. Clean, large bed, spacious bathroom. All the basic amenities are there. Keep in mind that the room isn't cleaned everyday so don't expect them to come and replace your towels or change your trash bag on call. If you need room service you'd need to contact them via SNS and arrange a time. Overall, if you're a low maintenance solo traveler who just needs a roof over your head this is a good option. If you're more used to having regular hotel services or traveling with your family, especially small children, this might not be the best choice.

This place was recently renovated so was in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable and quiet. There is aircon and a fan in the room and we were able to connect our laptop to the large TV. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The wharf, which is a nice place to have a coffee in the morning, is a 2 minute walk. There are grocery stores nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

The room I stayed in was basically a shoebox with a nice bathroom. The basic room had no windows and is only slightly bigger than a full sized bed. This is fine if you plan on spending your days touring around Taipei, but don't expect to relax in it; most especially if you're claustrophobic. The rooms are clean, but desk service is almost non-existent. I didn't know who I was supposed to check out with, since no one was staffing the front desk, so I just left my keycard in my room. The exterior of the building has no signage either, so you have to go by the address to locate it. The area is pretty crowded, like any downtown wholesale district, so don't expect any nice scenic views either. MRT is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel, so take that to see the sights near Daan Park and Taipei 101.

The hotel is clean, has multiple electric sockets (perfect for those who brought lots of gadgets), has a bathtub (perfect for soothing body pain after hours of walk and day tour in the city), and has complete amenities.

Room is very good. But the sign of hotel is very ambigues that it is hard to find. When arrive you have to contact someone on their phone, verify, then get a real person to meet you. If you arrive very late, you may have problem to get in easily. Another problem is this hotel is far from subway stations.
