Had such a lovely experience at OLA Studio. The studio was bright, super clean, welcoming, and full of creative energy with other people enjoying different craft classes too. After a really clear introduction covering the do’s, don’ts, and a practice session, I was off tufting my little heart out. Three hours later, a tufting masterpiece was born! The atmosphere was calm and relaxed with no pressure at all, which made it really enjoyable even as a beginner. One thing I really appreciated was being able to send my design idea beforehand, so it was already drawn onto the canvas ready for me when I arrived. location: equipment: A little tip for anyone booking: if possible, plan to collect your tufting the next day. I didn’t realise beforehand that if you want to take it the same day, you’ll need to allow extra time for trimming and finishing. Such a fun, creative experience and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Penang looking for something different to do.

Easy to find and with nice coffee shops nearby if you’re early, ZoCraft is a clean well set out work shop. My daughter and I had a lovely morning making our rings from scratch with expert tuition. We soldered, engraved,sized,polished and are delighted with our rings. I would absolutely recommend!

Trisha is amazing. highly recommend for anyone who wants to get into pottery or just wants to try and experience it. she doesn’t put any pressure on you, and guides you to discover what works best for you. definitely would be back again!

It was absolutely wonderful. The staff were kind, and my hair was styled beautifully. I didn't want to take off the clothes, so I kept taking photos until 5 PM. I'd love to experience it again. If you come to Penang, you should definitely try it!

Our photographer, Chester, took us to many different locations for our photoshoot and also taught us how to pose. Chester is incredibly skilled; it's clear from his photos that he knows everyone's best angles, avoiding double chins and large arms. The entire set of photos turned out wonderfully, with natural and pleasing colors and exposure. I highly recommend that if you visit Penang, you definitely set aside an hour or two for a photoshoot to capture those beautiful moments.
