Penghu

When visiting Penghu, a trip to Jibei Island is a must, especially for families with children. The boat ride is only 20 minutes, so you won't get seasick. We chose the 10:30 AM departure and 4:00 PM return. Since this tour only offers fixed times, it felt a bit long for us as we didn't participate in any water activities, but it was still very worthwhile!

First, we headed to Dongjiyu. The air conditioning on the boat was quite strong, so those who get cold easily should bring a jacket. The tour guide on Dongjiyu Island explained everything very clearly. The weather was great, perfect for taking photos! 👍 We could only see the Blue Cave from a distance and snap a few pictures; it was a bit of a shame that the lighting wasn't ideal. On Qimei Island, renting a scooter was more convenient. We rode around the outer loop and saw all the sights, which was very handy. The only minor inconvenience was that the scooters didn't have phone holders. Perhaps because it wasn't peak season yet, there weren't too many people, and we got some really great photos! 👍👍👍 I'll definitely find time to visit other islands next time.

The itinerary was packed with activities, and it was a rare experience to pass under the cross-sea bridge and see the whirlpools up close! The cruise around the northern islands, seeing the Blue Cave, and watching the terns were all very interesting, and Mudouyu Island was incredibly beautiful! The beach at Jibei was lovely, the ice cream was delicious, and the restaurants and shops were all very friendly. Our tour guide enthusiastically shared information throughout the trip and helped everyone take great photos. The captain and crew provided aerial views that we wouldn't have seen otherwise, creating wonderful memories of our journey.

The captain was very nice, and the diving instructors were excellent! However, the weather wasn't cooperating that day; there was no wind, light rain, and huge waves. Snorkeling basically allowed us to see the seawater, sand, sea cucumbers, and the instructors' fins. Because the waves were so big, the snorkeling spot wasn't the original location, but being able to get in the water was still a good experience. The noodles were delicious.

On the first day of our Penghu trip, it was very windy and rainy. Our tour guide, Xiao Hei Ge, was humorous and engaging. He provided detailed explanations at every scenic spot we visited, and every snack he recommended was a must-try Penghu delicacy. I really enjoyed having Xiao Hei Ge as our guide and would love to have him again next time.

This was a truly wonderful trip. Blue skies, clear waters, and seagulls soaring above. Captain Ah-Fu navigated smoothly through the southern seas. At Dongyuping, under Yangyang's guidance, we snorkeled, and she meticulously explained the marine ecosystem and coral types. The delicate, purplish staghorn coral, shimmering in the sunlight, looked absolutely dreamy. In the afternoon, there were SUP, underwater scooters, and many other fun activities. When we got tired, there was an abundance of fruit and snacks, leaving us feeling completely satisfied. We're grateful for the professional and thoughtful care from Yangyang, Huoji, and A-Tzu, which allowed us to enjoy playing in the water with our children without any worries. We also appreciate the vegetarian lunch option; it was a blessing for vegetarians. This is a great activity that I'd love to do again with family and friends in the future.

I originally thought we wouldn't see many beautiful sights in Hangwan, and figured it would be good enough if they offered snorkeling for the kids. However, our coach turned out to be a very knowledgeable and handsome young man. I told him he resembled Ah Cui from the Fubon Guardians. He provided a thorough explanation of the unique features of each scenic spot along the way. Furthermore, we discovered that Love Fun is genuinely dedicated to helping the government restore coral in the ocean, having successfully transplanted the Lavender Forest, which is typically only found on southern islands. Each segment truly made us appreciate Penghu's waters even more. Thank you to the coach for taking photos of our entire family throughout the trip.
