Aula de Culinária Tailandesa Sabieng com Tour pelo Mercado, Bangkok

I took the Sabieng Thai Cooking Class with Market Tour in Bangkok and had an amazing experience! We learned how to make Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice, and everything tasted so good. The morning market tour was also really fun and interesting — a great way to understand local ingredients. The instructor was super friendly, funny, and explained everything in detail, so the whole class felt very engaging and easy to follow. It was such a useful and fulfilling experience. Tip: don’t eat before you come — you’ll be so full! Highly recommend this class!

This was a highlight for my trip. Pim, our instructor was efficient and makes the entire learning experience so fun and rewarding! The Tom Kha Gai we made for our first course was the best I have ever tasted! The cooking studio was separated into two sections. The prepping section is serene and calm, while the cooking section is where we did some ‘fast and furious’ cooking! 😆 I would definitely recommend this learning experience! Thank you, Pim. You were amazing!

Meet up in Exit 1(ouside) and went for market tour! it was amzing to see local freah market. and took tuktuk to school, this was cool as well. and the dishes I cooked today were all my favourite. Definable recommend! :)

The cooking class at Sabieng was one of our favourite parts of our BKK trip! Pim was funny and amazing - very informative and led the class really well. Suitable for children too! Only wish the market tour was a liiiittle bit longer!

This was a great class. The time in the market was informative and timely. we made four dishes, and the flow and timing went well. There were opportunities to ask questions, the instructor modeled and was thorough, and the food was great! I love being able to take home the knowledge and recipes from the day.

As for someone who loves Thai food and likes to cook, this has got to be the highlight of our Thailand trip. The facility was very clean and organized, very aesthetically pleasing, even the separate cooking area. The presentation plates and garnishes were also provided by them. You could also get a PDF file of all their recipes, more than the 4 dishes you cooked, and a little souvernir after the class. Definitely a must try even for someone without experience in the kitchen. Would have been perfect tho if they also provide certificates, nonetheless it was worth it.

We enjoyed the market tour with the tuktuk ride and the cooking class itself! The cooking studio was very clean and looked great. Everything was prepared and we just needed to cook with the imgredients. The instructor also gave clear explanations and directions before and during the actual cooking.

Had a really lovely experience booking a cooking class with Chef Alex. We had a smooth pickup from the front of the MRT station then a short walk to the local market and it was clear he is at ease educating Thai cuisine newbies. We got a great history lesson. It was also fun experience going back to the cooking school in a tuktuk. Also, my first time in one. We came back to the school and the ambience of it was awesome with soft music playing throughout and airy open space with great air conditioning. On todays menu we made: Tom Yum Goong Pad Thai with Prawns Green curry with chicken Mango sticky rice . There were also complimentary mangosteens and the chef treated us to to roll wrappers and candy floss in between meals which was delicious. Definitely an experience worth doing while in Bangkok and I’ll recommend to my friends. Also, I need to shout out Chef Alex promoting other local businesses we could patronise and other places he recommended for entertainment, shopping and so on. Plus talking to us about the incoming rainy season, answering our questions about Thailand and just having overall amazing energy!

This is exactly how it was advertised. We had a market tour at the start of the activity and went around Klong Toey Market. I even got to buy traditional Thai desserts. First time to ride a tuktuk from the market to the school, it was fun! The actual cooking class was very informative and engaging. I had a lot of fun making all the food and interacting with my classmates. Our instructor Pim was so nice and she gives very clear instructions. Everything tastes so good! I’ll probably do this again if I come back to Thailand.

Enjoyable experience! The entire session was well-paced, informative and satisfying. It was a great experience overall making the 4 dishes! Pim is an amazing instructor who gave clear instructions and shared a few jokes here and there. She definitely made the lesson much more enjoyable and fun!
