Very easy to redeem the tickets, just need to show the QR code to the staff. Paid another IDR15K per pax to take a short shuttle ride up the steep slope to the entrance of the church as we have elderlies in the group. Interesting place to visit with great view at the top of chicken crown. We were surprised to receive a complimentary snack of fried tapioca at the end of the visit. It was tasty!

Ticket was so affordable, you can choose to top up onsite (think it was just IDR15k?) for a short shuttle up or hike up. Inside this place, you can choose to get a free short tour too. Guide speaks english. The ticket also allows you to redeem free cassava! It was so tasty! There’s a cafe too with nice views overlooking the mountains

Cheaper to get tickets from Klook then purchase onsite. Instant confirmation and just let the staff scan the QR code. You can access the crown (for view of Mt Merapi & Borobudur) and ticket comes with a delicious free snack (fried tapioca). I paid another Rp15k to take shuttle up the church as the slope is too steep for us

Initially this was a random booking since the place had a funky architecture. Surprisingly, this become a great idea as the views from this place is awesome! The coffee shop is also very quaint and serves good coffee (the food was kind alright); where else the gift shop had quite the selection of the things at affordable prices - so do not skip on it and check it out! Also - it is perhaps best to come early before it gets crowded so you dont need to rush with others to get your photos and to soak up the view at your own leisure. We arrived at 6.30am (the place opens at 6am) and by the time we left at 7.15am there were quite a number of people already. Oh not forgetting, you will need to pay a fee to take the shuttle up from the parking to the main enterance (about a 2mins ride up) - you could climb the stairs but it is quite steep.

強烈建議一定要搭乘接駁車上去教堂，從入口處到教堂的道路坡度非常的抖，不太適合老人家或腿骨不好的人。教堂若想走到雞冠的位置，樓梯也相當多，且部分狹隘。

Must-visit in Yogyakarta! We learned that it's not chicken, but a dove with a crown, and the one who had it built is an 81-year-old grandpa who lives near this Chicken Church (he's alive!) There is a part there where you can pick a card with a message. I picked a card that says my family will be blessed throughout the whole year. Fingers crossed!! 😊 There is also a small restaurant/cafe inside and we liked the food. 🥰 Don't leave Jogja without seeing Gereja Ayam!!

最後一段陡坡，可以坐接駁車上去跟下來，一人約30台幣，進去後不太像教堂，不過風景不錯，拍照也好看，停車費車子一台約20台幣
