Good hotel well located.

Gorgeous hotel in the perfect location only a 15 minute walk to Muslim Quarter and an easy walk to get on to the city walls. Fabulous staff, thank you Doris! The rooms are very chic, dark wood panels, large comfortable beds with mattress toppers and the best pillows we’ve had in China. Pay a bit extra to include breakfast as the breakfast room is lovely and there’s a lot of choice. Free use of laundry washer and dryers. Fantastic shower. A safe in the room, hairdryer, bath robes. Impressive place. Would cost double the price even triple in most other cities in the world. Xi’an is a beautiful city.

Great location, spacious room and ample amenities

Everyone was so welcoming from the moment I arrived. A special thank you to Doris, who made my stay so much easier and never made the language difference feel like a barrier. Thank you Doris for your kindness and for making this such a lovely stay ☺️✨ The only thing I would mention is that vegan options were a little limited during my stay, so it may be worth discussing dietary requirements with the hotel beforehand.

Great stay at Xi'an Eastern House Boutique Hotel. Perfect location right by the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter, everything is walkable. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet with good WiFi. Staff were friendly and helped us with directions and Didi to the station. Great value and location for exploring Xi'an. Would stay again.

The staff was amazing! They helped us book a tour to the terracotta warriors and helped us with getting to the station on time for our train departure. A young lady at the front desk was WAITING for us in the lobby to help us and that was just impressive. Would stay again!

This hotel is in an ideal location, in the city walls of Xi’an with plenty of food options nearby. Be aware there is another location also listed as ‘Eastern House’ but this is the correct place. Breakfast was not bad, a mixed selection with pastries, bread for toast and cereals as a Western option. Afternoon tea was an interesting mix of cakes, definitely worth trying and the tea was tasty. Overall great value for money, the reception staff who I engaged with spoke some English and were friendly. Highly recommend over some of the more familiar American chained brands.

Short walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops.

This is a very nice hotel in a good location.rooms are a good size and spacious. Our only issue was the AC. We always book rooms with AC but here the hotel controlled when it was available. Once it was on you could adjust the temp in your room. The hotel did provide us with some fans which really helped but it was still disappointing. The AC did finally seem to stay on by the 3rd night after my wife complained again. The staff were very nice, i think the issue was due to how the building management team programed the availability of AC. Even though it was mid April, some hotels have “winter mode” which regulates the necessity of using AC.

The staff are super friendly and even if they are not able to converse in English, we used an app translator or someone else on the staff. Location is ideal for us, within 10 min walk to the Muslim Quarter but far enough to not hear the noise. Plenty of restaurants around the area, pharmacies, fruit shops etc. The Air Conditioning in our room was not great - we never got around to reporting it as we left the windows open and it didnt get too warm at nights. Breakfast selection was good. They had a non-pork section which was adequate. The fried rice and noodles were very tasty. They have afternoon tea which was decent - a good filler to dinner/supper. On Google map or Amap, the hotel's location is also called Dongshes Hotel for some odd reason. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, from the staff to the breakfast and the location. Highly recommended!
