Great location! That was the most important thing for us. Very small hotel with very personal service from desk staff. Simple decent breakfast but not extensive. Rooms are small but well appointed.

Location very convenient to old harbor end of Reykjavik, and within walking distance of other big sights. Nice neighborhood for walking around in. Hotel staff very friendly. Convenient restaurant and bar on premises. Room very compact with somewhat inconvenient spaces to put luggage etc. Nice shower with very nice high end Icelandic herb shampoo, conditioner and soap. A real treat.

The location of the hotel is very good. The staff is very cordial and helpful. The rooms are small but have the necessary things. Overall, we would recommend it.

We arrived quite early and were greeted by friendly staff who did offer us the option of an early check in, as the room was ready, but for an additional fee. (If the room is already made up, this could have been waived). We passed on that and they were happy to look after our bags while we explored the harbour area. The room was good and the breakfast choice was excellent. Happy hour at the bar was also really good, with friendly and attentive staff. All round, an excellent hotel and location, with the town centre just a few mins walk away. Would stay again.

Great QUIET location close enough to walk to bars and restaurants, but far enough away that you can sleep with the window open without being disturbed by noise from the bars or the Main Street. Rooms are cosy and affordable. Breakfast was really affordable (about $16 US, other hotels charged $46 US). I would stay here again!

Location was easy to get too. Street parking in front and all around. Location to city centre was perfect. The staff at the desk were very sweet and helpful. Free tea and coffee was very nice. Noise level was no issue. Could hear people outside but that’s expected Room was pretty typical European room. Small. Worked for us. Had a bit of a hard time walking around the beds to get to washroom. With two twin beds and two medium luggage bags that’s really the space gone lol but if you’re like us and barely in the room it works! If you need space then the room#101 won’t be ideal for you. Room and bathroom were very clean. But also tiny. The shower pressure was amazing however! We would stay here again know European hotels for a lower price are just small.
