Great budget hotel with boutique vibe and zen feel. Located close to multiple bus stops and Omiya station, and multiple convenient stores around. Friendly and courteous staff, great hotel scent!

I rarely leave ratings any more, but FUGASTAY deserves 5-stars. After a long day of travel it was a welcome place to rest.

It was relatively cheap find with accessible location. However, i had some non pleasant stay there. 1. The room smelled bad and i had to buy air freshener spray, 2. We stayed in 4th floor and corridor fan was very loud, ended up couldn’t sleep for the first night.

February visit
Our hotel room was surprisingly spacious, clean and functional. It had 2 twin beds, but my wife and I ended up just utilizing one.
Has a mini fridge, tv (for those who care), and disposable slippers.
I gave it 5 stars because it was exactly what we were looking for at an affordable price. Staff were great and check in process was fast.
One thing to note:
- Room was very warm! (This wasn't really a problem because we turned on the air conditioner to compensate. Just felt bad about it 😬🙏)
