Passeios por Kurama Hot Spring

I had an amazing Kyoto day trip visiting Arashiyama, Sanzen Garden, and Kifune Shrine. In Arashiyama, I rode a rickshaw and took beautiful photos in the bamboo forest. Sanzen Garden was a favorite for its quiet, calming atmosphere, and at Kifune Shrine I enjoyed trying the paper water fortune. Our guide and driver, Nick Lee, spoke excellent English and shared great background stories about each place, which made the experience even more meaningful. Highly recommended!

Private tour on a rainy day. The driver, Kangfu, who also acted as a tour guide, was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off at a more convenient location from our accommodation. He did his best to send us introductory information for each location we were going to visit. He prepared plenty of umbrellas for us to use for free. It would be a better experience if the weather improved. We would join the tour again for another season.

We really enjoyed this tour so much. We were able to visit many different temples and shrines in Kyoto and learn about their legends and significance. Our tour guide explained the history of each temple and shrine clearly in English, which made the experience even more meaningful. I would love to come back and join another tour here in Japan. Thank you!

I believe this trip route isn't very popular, but we booked it anyway since we couldn't find any other Klook tour for Kifune Shrine on such short notice. All the locations were beautiful. Our driver, Toshiya, was very accommodating with all of our requests. He even left his car to help us find our train to the airport at Kyoto Station.

I highly recommend this tour! Arashiyama, Sagano, the Bamboo Grove, and Arashiyama Park offer beautiful scenery, and the cherry blossoms 🌸 were in full bloom 😃! It was a weekend, so there were quite a few people. There were also rickshaw services nearby, and you could go boating on the lake, plus there was a small foot bath. Luckily, we had booked the Sagano Romantic Train tickets. Our guide, Ms. Minako, thoughtfully informed us that the even-numbered seats offer better views and also considered whether our seats would be facing uphill or downhill. She even arranged for us to swap seats on the return journey in advance, ensuring everyone had a chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Furthermore, she provided us with relevant maps and highlighted key sights to see, and she accompanied the group to introduce the attractions (as I later joined other Klook Japan day tours where some guides would only stay on the tour bus and not enter the attractions to explain them). I felt her service was attentive and professional, and she often proactively offered to take photos for me (as I was traveling solo this time). This tour departs from Osaka and Kyoto, and it also includes Sanzen-in Temple (not many tours go there, but it's very peaceful for tea tasting). The schedule felt quite ample.

Kyoto Sanzen-in Temple and Rurikoin Temple were truly worth the trip. They were a complete ocean of green, bringing a refreshing coolness to the hot summer. Kibune Shrine, like a hermitage in a fairyland, where the hustle and bustle of the world are unheard... with cool flowing water beneath your feet, you can enjoy pure comfort. Every path brings the coolness of the mountains, and even the breeze carries the sweet scent of the stream. It was excellent, I am very satisfied, and I thank the tour guide for their enthusiastic service.

Our guide Xiao Gao is very friendly and helpful. We feel taken care of. The itinerary was more relaxed (as compared to other tours) and there was more time to explore each place. We loved the pace of this tour! Xiao Gao also recommended local places to eat, we thank him for his thoughtfulness. Highly recommended.

The ride was late because the previous passengers were late. It was our driver Meng Fanzhe's first time visiting these locations. There was no guide or introduction for the locations.
