Miyakojima Island snorkeling

I was worried about the cold as it was January, the middle of winter, but I chose this tour after much deliberation, and it was absolutely perfect! The day before the tour, I received kind instructions via email and WhatsApp. All snorkeling equipment (mask, wetsuit, diving boots, and short fins) is provided, so you only need to bring your swimsuit and a towel. After meeting at Shigira Beach parking lot 2, we put on our wetsuits, moved to the beach, listened to some precautions, and then entered the water to put on the rest of the equipment. The tour officially began after receiving the thoughtful service of anti-fog solution for the snorkeling mask! The underwater environment was clear and clean, allowing for an enjoyable experience with excellent visibility!! We had a fun and happy time encountering sea turtles and tropical fish like Nemo, guided by the skilled leading and instructions of our kind and passionate guide, Mayu!!! Guide Mayu, in particular, showed outstanding performance with excellent English skills, constantly ensuring the safety of our group, and creating wonderful memories with amazing underwater photography. The guides were caring and patient, teaching us how to use the equipment. The coin locker cost 200 yen. We could use their shower after the activity. We saw 2 turtles and swam near them, even in very shallow waters. There was no pick-up and drop-off service.

This was an amazing experience!!! Mashi, our tour guide, was AMAZING from start to finish! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to a great spot and the photos turned out fantastic!! you need to do this! 100/10 recommend!

Snorkeling in Miyakojima in winter! Me alegré muchísimo de haber reservado con Othree. Teníamos un tiempo limitado en la isla, ¡pero esto hizo que nuestro viaje fuera perfecto! Experiencia: Othree fue muy complaciente con mis consultas. Respondieron en cuestión de horas, incluso antes de la fecha programada del tour. Sin embargo, lo bueno fue que al principio tuve un problema con mi reserva, ya que compré el tour equivocado y ellos lo solucionaron por mí. Ubicación: Necesitas un taxi para llegar allí, y en nuestro caso tuvimos que pedirle al guía que nos ayudara a reservar un taxi para regresar al puerto de cruceros donde nos alojábamos. Instructor: La instructora fue divertida, educada y muy útil para nosotros. ¡Nos encantó! Equipo: El equipo estaba incluido, equipo de snorkel y aletas. Eran lo suficientemente cómodos para usar.

I was excited to go snorkeling in Miyakojima with Ryoma ~ great memories meeting many ocean creatures and visiting designated spots with gorgeous pictures!

It was truly wonderful to encounter a sea turtle while snorkeling in the beautiful Miyako Blue waters. The instructor was constantly attentive, making sure I wasn't overexerting myself during the experience. They also took many photos, which became a great memento. I definitely want to participate again next time!
