I participated in a 7-day tour in Munich, with a different local day trip each day. This tour left the best and deepest impression on me. Whether you're in Munich for a long or short time, you should consider this day tour. Remember to definitely visit Linderhof Palace; it's incredibly beautiful and reflects the king's excellent taste at the time. I personally believe it's more worthwhile than other palaces. So, for some day tours to Neuschwanstein Castle, if they don't include Linderhof Palace, it's a loss. You absolutely must choose this type of tour. Besides thoroughly visiting Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles, this tour also goes to a lake, possibly called Alpine Lake, offering everything you could want. Linderhof Palace is an indispensable part of it. Additionally, many tours only drive past the Painted Village (Oberammergau) by bus, but this itinerary thoughtfully included a short stop there, which I felt was sufficient. In the Painted Village, you can take photos, buy drinks, and souvenirs. Booking through Klook was very convenient. Also, because this tour is very popular, there's a high chance it departs daily. Our group on that day had about 50 people. On a side note, I saw a review on Klook about a male leader with braided hair. His reviews weren't great, which is quite a shame. Although he might come across as a bit arrogant, he actually has deep knowledge and extensive experience. I could tell he managed his time very well, though he seemed a bit stressed about it. But there's no way around it; once you've completed this tour, you'll understand that time management must be excellent. Otherwise, you won't be able to enter the palaces on time, and it would be difficult to squeeze in a little time for the Painted Village. Everyone needs to understand this, which is why he was quite particular about time control. Unfortunately, he told us it was his last day working, and I was lucky enough to have him lead our tour. He instructed us on how to navigate the Neuschwanstein itinerary, how to save time by taking the Shuttle Bus here and there, which saved us some time and leg power. Before coming here, I had watched YouTube videos, and the routes they suggested would involve a very long and time-consuming walk if done on foot, wasting a lot of time. So, with this guide, he taught us how to complete the entire route within a certain timeframe. He would walk around the bus, explaining and answering questions to each group individually. Although not overly detailed, it's challenging to explain things thoroughly on a moving bus. He still managed to answer questions for each group. Booking through Klook is very convenient, so I highly, highly recommend choosing this Neuschwanstein Castle & Linderhof Palace day tour and the Königssee & Magic Forest day tour through Klook. These two tours are a must-do. Strongly recommended. I also want to mention that Klook only allows six photos to be uploaded in reviews, which doesn't allow us to fully showcase details to future interested travelers. I hope Klook can relax this and allow us to upload at least 20 photos in reviews, so that the next participant can get a clearer understanding.

The tour itself was nicely paced throughout the course of a full day. Spending the first half in the old medieval portion of Nuremberg you then have the second part of the tour focused on more recent WW2 events. While we had come for the more recent portion the first half was equally interesting. Our tour guide (Sabri) was very well informed, funny and kind - and even as a bit of a history buff I still felt like I learned loads. Transport throughout the day was seamlessly organized and simply something you don’t need to worry about. Bring snacks, refillable water bottles and your curiosity - you will leave more informed and also having got your steps in.

Our driver was called something like Dragon, and our tour guide is a lady with beautiful blue eyes, grey hair, and a clear voice. I unfortunately forgot her name, but she is so helpful and professional, which made the entire trip experience impeccable. I hope she can be my tour guide again! It was a worthwhile tour; I wish I had more time. If you love sightseeing and museums, you might want to skip lunch and tour around instead.

Neuschwanstein Castle is a true real-life fairytale, offering absolutely stunning alpine views, breathtaking nineteenth-century architecture, and unforgettable photo opportunities around every corner. It’s so easy to book thru Klook, overall it’s a great tour experience.

We opted for a tour as it is troublesome to make our own way to Konigsee Lake (it would take around 3 hours with 3 train + bus transfers). The view was great, but do note that you may not have much time at the lake with this tour - we only had 1 hour, which is understandable given the long drive from Munich city. If you wish to spend more time at the lake, then you need to go yourself. The tour of the salt mine was unexpectedly interesting 👍🏻

We booked a tour for four people, and they sent a very new 8-seater car. Inside, there was mineral water, a variety of snacks, and drinks, which was very thoughtful! Our driver this time was Mido, who gave us a very detailed explanation of how to get around Königssee, providing an excellent guide and the best route so we could see the most beautiful scenery! At the end of the tour, he even gave us beautiful postcards. Highly recommend Mido👍❤️

At first, I thought the price was too high, but then I realized that the mountain cable car alone costs €72, and suddenly it didn't seem so bad! The weather was great, we could reach the summit, and even go sledding on the way down. We took both the cable car and the train, and the itinerary was very smooth. The tour guide was very enthusiastic about helping us take photos and explained everything in great detail. I think it was well worth the price!
