Passeios por Mount Aso

We had a wonderful experience on this day tour to Kusasenri Grassland (Kusasenrigahama) and Takachiho Gorge. Our tour guide, Daisy Wu, was very lovely and friendly. She speaks both English and Chinese fluently, which made communication very easy for everyone in the group. During each stop, she also recommended different local food spots for us to try, which was very helpful. Originally, our itinerary was supposed to include Aso Crater as well. However, due to a recent helicopter accident and the ongoing rescue operations, the crater area was temporarily closed. Daisy handled the situation very well and brought us to an alternative spot instead. Luckily, the weather today was very clear, so we were still able to see Aso Crater from Kusasenri Grassland, which made the experience even more special. Overall, this is a highly recommended day tour. Thank you for the lovely keychain souvenir, it’s a nice memory from the trip. Hope to join another tour with Daisy again in the future!

한국인 가이드는 없지만 너무나 친절하게 모이는 시간이랑 어떻게 움직일건지 개인적으로 저에게 영어로 따로 설명해주셨어요. 일정이 너무 빡빡하지도 않고. 충분히 시간도 많이 주신답니다. 아마테라스 철도를 타러 가서 표를 예매하고 그리고 바로 다카치호 협곡 구경 후에 다시 아마테라스 기차를 타러 옵니다. 철도 자체가 재밌거나 한건 아닌데 그래도 좋더라구요? ㅎㅎ 협곡도 넘 좋아요. 가이드님 따라 가시면 됩니다. 사진 찍느라 좀 늦어져도 가이드님 노란 깃발 찾으면 되고 돌아갈때도 여기에서 언제 만나는지 알려주시고. 친철하게 사진도 찍어주셨답니다. 그리고 쿠사센리 가서 점심 먹을 시간 주시고 구경 시간 넉넉하게 주시더라구요. 그리고 나카다케 화구를 갔는데 아쉽게도 접근 금지라 밑에서만 보고 왔어요. 그래도 넘 좋더라구요. 이 투어를 추천합니다.

このツアーはまさに夢のようでした！これらの場所はずっと私の行きたい場所リストにあり、ついに訪れることができて本当に嬉しいです。熊本からの出発はとても便利で、高千穂峡、草千里、上色見熊野座神社、高千穂神社を一日で、しかも慌ただしいと感じることなく巡ることができたことに感動しました。 ツアーガイドの方には特に感謝しています！ツアーの主な言語は中国語でしたが、ガイドの方はとても親切で、私のためにすべて英語で説明してくださいました。そのおかげで、体験がより包括的で楽しいものになりました。九州の最高の場所を効率的かつ楽しく巡りたいなら、この旅行を強くお勧めします！

In the cold weather, we were fortunate to take the Miyazaki train and witness the beauty of Takachiho Gorge with our own eyes. We successfully saw the Mount Aso Nakadake crater, and as we were leaving, light snow fell on Mount Aso as a farewell. Special thanks to our professional, enthusiastic, and energetic guide, Mr. Sugiyama, who took care of us throughout the tour, provided excellent guidance, and recommended delicious food, making our family's packed and fulfilling day trip wonderful.

Mr. Sun, nuestro guía, fue excelente. Fue informativo, servicial y amable. El paseo en barco por el desfiladero fue increíble, aunque un poco caótico, ya que los barcos tenían que dar la vuelta y regresar al punto de partida. El almuerzo fue increíble. El viaje por el desfiladero fue físicamente exigente, con subidas y bajadas de escaleras, pero las vistas eran impresionantes. En general, fue un buen viaje y muy recomendable. El viaje al volcán también fue increíble, pero el inicio del viaje fue un poco caótico en el hotel Lawson Oriental, ya que tuvimos que buscar al guía turístico entre una gran multitud. Quizás darnos el número y el nombre del guía con un cartel sería mejor, ya que tuvimos que preguntar a muchos guías de Gogo antes de encontrar al correcto.

This time, participating in the "Kyushu Takachiho One-Day Tour" was a great experience, and the overall itinerary was very well-arranged. I highly recommend it! We comfortably took a direct bus from Kumamoto Station and were able to visit Takachiho Gorge, Mount Aso, and Kusasenri all in one day. There was no need to transfer or plan transportation ourselves, which was very convenient for independent travelers. Although we couldn't go up to the Aso crater today and the boat ride was under maintenance, the overall experience was still excellent, and I believe this is an opportunity to revisit this place in the future! I especially recommend our guide, Mr. Sun. He professionally introduced a lot of Kumamoto's history and stories about the attractions along the way. The atmosphere was relaxed and interesting, making it easy to listen attentively. Mr. Sun was also very thoughtful and cared for every traveler, actively helping to take photos at each scenic spot, and recommending delicious food and souvenirs. Thanks to Mr. Sun, the entire trip was even better! Today was a wonderful and worthwhile one-day tour! I truly recommend this itinerary 👍

Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine was absolutely gorgeous!! It was described as mystical and it really felt that way. The only bad thing was that I couldn't capture just how beautiful it was on camera. Takachiho Gorge was also nice, and our guide Ryu took us through explaining different sections and taking photos in am orderly fashion. The Miyazaki meal set was quite nice, and you can cook the beef to your liking - it was very tender and delicious! Amano Iwato shrine has a nice view. The walk back in particular was nice, and the mango soft serve was yummy!

The itinerary was punctual and the program was rich, with highly visitable locations. However, the staff at the spring were less experienced and rushed through their explanations of the scenery. Despite this, it's still worth a try.
