She planned a route to avoid peak crowds in advance, saving us from long queues, and also shared recommendations for local specialty snacks. The Gubei Water Town + Simatai Great Wall offers incredible value for money. There are very few tourists, so you can explore comfortably. During the day, stroll through Gubei Water Town, take a sculling boat, and gaze at the distant Simatai Great Wall. Paired with the autumn yellow leaves of the ancient town, it's truly breathtaking – a must-experience! I feel that if there's another chance, you definitely need to stay overnight to fully explore, because the entire Gubei Water Town is super huge! Our tour guide, Cindy, was incredibly thoughtful. Because we took the cable car for a night tour of the Simatai Great Wall, she reminded us to keep track of time to walk back to the bus. And when she was giving explanations on the bus, because there were foreigners, her bilingual explanations switched very smoothly!

Loved the entire trip! Have been on other Klook tours but this topped my list. First of all, the tour guide Chacha (aka Xiao Cha) was early, so we didn’t have to wait at all since we were also early. She even created a group chat for all participants of the day so she could send us directions, instructions and updates there. Everything was clear and efficient! Other Klook tour guides don’t do this so she really made the experience great 👍 Also, we chose the one-way boat ride option so we could take our time to explore the little town, which was so picturesque.

Today, I completed a tour guided by Susie. My guide was very helpful. I contacted her the night before via WeChat, and she updated me on the pick-up time by 9 PM the day before the trip. I chose the pick-up option, and they arranged a Didi taxi to collect me from my hotel. We then gathered at the subway station and took a bus to Guibei Water Town, arriving around 11 AM. Inside the bus, Susie explained details about the trip, including boat rides, cable car rides, and their prices. You can purchase all activities à la carte here at a cheaper price. I paid using the Alipay app, which is linked to my international credit card. Once we arrived, she bought our tickets and further explained the meeting points before we departed back to the city. She even helped and guided us to the boat ride. Inside the town, you mainly explore at your own pace. I took many beautiful photos on the Great Wall; it was mesmerizing and as beautiful as I am. I'm happy to be back in this relaxing town with its lovely serenity.

Went here with a group of 11, including 2 elders and 2 kids, and we had such a great time. Lucy was very friendly and wonderful with the kids. She also gave us many helpful recommendations on what tourists should do and avoid, which we truly appreciated. Definitely worth booking ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
