Kokusai Street snorkeling

Great experience, just need to head to the counter at the port and the staff will issue the ferry tickets accordingly. Likewise, when we reached Tokashiki Island, there was someone to pick us up. The itinerary was quite relaxed as our snorkeling was at 12:30 PM, so we had some time to spend at the beautiful beach since we arrived around 10:15 AM. The snorkeling experience was great too for a first-timer like myself - all the equipment was provided and the instructors were experienced in showing us where to look for turtles and fish, etc. We were very lucky that the waters were clear and we could see many fish too!

I was worried about the cold as it was January, the middle of winter, but I chose this tour after much deliberation, and it was absolutely perfect! The day before the tour, I received kind instructions via email and WhatsApp. All snorkeling equipment (mask, wetsuit, diving boots, and short fins) is provided, so you only need to bring your swimsuit and a towel. After meeting at Shigira Beach parking lot 2, we put on our wetsuits, moved to the beach, listened to some precautions, and then entered the water to put on the rest of the equipment. The tour officially began after receiving the thoughtful service of anti-fog solution for the snorkeling mask! The underwater environment was clear and clean, allowing for an enjoyable experience with excellent visibility!! We had a fun and happy time encountering sea turtles and tropical fish like Nemo, guided by the skilled leading and instructions of our kind and passionate guide, Mayu!!! Guide Mayu, in particular, showed outstanding performance with excellent English skills, constantly ensuring the safety of our group, and creating wonderful memories with amazing underwater photography. After the tour, the thoughtful provision of warm water made it a truly perfect experience!!!! Thank you, Mayu! If you want to do a snorkeling tour in Miyakojima, don't hesitate and book here! Our tour guide Mentol is the best! Speaks good English, very kind and always looks out for us while snorkeling. Complete gear provided for free, including suits, snorkels, aqua shoes, and free photos. We will definitely do this again!!!

We went snorkeling with Makoto. The water was crystal clear and we saw many colorful fish and corals, and Makoto kept taking photos and videos throughout. It was a lot of fun, we would have loved to stay longer!

The guides were caring and patient, teaching us how to use the equipment. The coin locker cost 200 yen. We could use their shower after the activity. We saw 2 turtles and swam near them, even in very shallow waters. There was no pick-up and drop-off service.

For my first trip to Okinawa, I chose the Dream Reef snorkeling experience, and it certainly lived up to its reputation! Under the clear waters, colorful coral reefs and schools of tropical fish filled my vision, as if I were in an underwater world. Thanks to the patient guidance of the Kuroshio Diving instructors, even a beginner like me could easily and comfortably enjoy the fun of snorkeling. The instructors were not only professional but also very enthusiastic; they accompanied me throughout the entire trip and even helped me take many beautiful underwater photos, leaving me with wonderful memories. This Dream Reef trip was definitely one of the most unforgettable experiences of my Okinawa journey 👍

It was a bit confusing for the meeting point at the port since we arrived earlier at 8am. You need to wait near entrance of the parking lot for the staff to arrive around 8:15-8:20 with the boat and their blue NEWS shirt. Then, as we had booked parasailing, we had to leave with another company on another boat first. No toilet on this smaller boat, but they have a toilet on the bigger snorkeling boat. Once we were set, the experience for parasailing and snorkeling went smoothly. It was a great day with magnificent views over and undersea. The staff takes free photos with their phones/underwater camera for you. You can download them on their website afterwards which is a plus! Just be sure to have anti-nausea medication: the boat rides are very rough. We had no issue with safety. The snorkeling boat was well equipped.
