This time, I took my parents to Sun Moon Lake and didn't want to drive myself, so I signed up for this bus day tour. I was initially worried that the elderly might get backaches from riding a tour bus, but the seats turned out to be surprisingly spacious and comfortable! The itinerary was perfectly arranged, not rushed at all. We took a boat tour on Sun Moon Lake and enjoyed the breeze, which my parents found very relaxing. On the way back, we visited the Paper Dome, and the scenery was very tranquil. For those who don't want to drive long distances but still want to take their family out for some fresh air, this way of traveling is truly easy, and my parents also praised how worry-free the trip was.

The overall experience was very convenient! From Taichung HSR Station, you can see it right after exiting Gate 5. When it's time, staff members will hold up signs to direct everyone to the bus outside. The bus has cute livery, making it easy to spot. Recognizing this design at every stop ensures you won't get on the wrong bus. Inside the bus, there's a QR code for a 'lazy bag' of information, where you can find attraction details, listen to audio guides, and even see suggested itineraries. I really like tours like this without a guide on the bus, allowing for a quiet and enjoyable journey! I especially want to commend the driver! Super friendly and enthusiastic, he even made announcements and put up signs at each stop to inform everyone of the meeting times!

A highly recommended excursion that was just right for us. Although at the beginning we had a slight feeling that time would be short, everything worked out perfectly at every stop. However, one should know that this is not a guided tour, but rather that you have a certain amount of time at each stop to walk around before continuing. In the morning, we had enough time at the lake to use the cable car, stroll comfortably along the shore, and have a coffee. Our driver Wilson safely chauffeured us throughout the day and gave a brief introduction and clear instructions on departure time and location at each stop. Overall, great!

这次 Klook 的清境农场 + 日月潭一日游真的很棒，很幸运遇到司机 Ken哥！一上车就感觉他人很亲切，沿途都会很认真地介绍景点和当地的小故事，讲解清楚又不会太枯燥，而且还很幽默，整个车程气氛都很好。 最惊喜的是 Ken哥 真的很会帮游客拍照！每到一个景点都会主动帮我们找好角度，还会教我们怎么站、怎么拍，拍出来的照片都很好看，完全像随行摄影师一样 😂 行程安排也很顺畅，不会赶时间，玩得很舒服。整体体验非常好，是一次很开心的一日游。如果有机会再参加，一定还会希望再遇到 Ken哥，真的很推荐！

My boyfriend used to drive us to Nantou, and every time we drove back, we'd both be exhausted from traffic. This time, we took the high-speed rail directly from Hsinchu to Taichung and seamlessly connected to this bus. We truly experienced what it means to "sleep on the bus and take beautiful photos when you get off"! After arriving at Sun Moon Lake, we rented electric bicycles and rode to the Xiangshan Visitor Center. The lake scenery along the way was truly beautiful. In the afternoon, we went to the Nina Chocolate Castle and took tons of photos (the included admission ticket was very cost-effective, and entry was super convenient!). Plus, the exclusive bottled water and DM fan distributed on the bus were quite stylish. The fan had some information for guided tours and discount coupons, with lots of thoughtful details~~~ Next time you go to Sun Moon Lake, I really recommend this!

With this bus, even if you live in Taipei, you can visit Sun Moon Lake and return on the same day. It's really convenient! You can leisurely depart from Taipei HSR Station in the morning, then transfer to this one-day tour bus downstairs at Taichung HSR Station, and arrive at the beautiful Sun Moon Lake around 11 AM! The bus first stops at a rather lovely shopping mall where you can use the restroom, buy ice cream, and souvenirs before continuing the journey. The weather was great on the day we departed, and the lake view of Sun Moon Lake is truly therapeutic. Staying here for over 3 hours was quite sufficient; you can take a boat tour to Yidashao Old Street and explore at your own pace. After leaving Sun Moon Lake, on the way back, we visited the Nina Chocolate Castle to feed capybaras, and next to it was the Instagrammable cafe, Sangxin Lab, where you can enjoy snacks and coffee, and the Paper Dome. The itinerary was incredibly rich! Finally, we returned to Taichung HSR Station around 6:30 PM, and were back in Taipei by just after 7 PM. Visiting Sun Moon Lake this way is truly relaxing! You don't have to worry about traffic jams or finding parking. Highly recommended!

This was my first time taking a day trip bus to Sun Moon Lake, and the comfort level truly exceeded my expectations. It was a very large bus with spacious seats. Upon boarding, I even saw cute bottled water, a fan, and a DM placed in front of the seats – all very practical complimentary items. After arriving at Sun Moon Lake, we chose to take the cable car. There are so many cherry blossoms right now, it's absolutely beautiful! 😍

Our tour guide Ken is very lively and super helpful. The tour itself is very hassle free and enjoying for a short period which is considerable because we need to go back to ximen at 7pm.
