The weather was great, it was a fulfilling trip, and I took some wonderful landscape photos. Yasushi was a great guide. During the trip, I asked about the bear incident. I’m sorry my English isn’t very good — I was trying to make a joke to lighten the mood. I truly hope all disasters have passed and won’t happen again. Peace and safety are the most important things.

Such a great tour with good enthusiastic guide 小Xi and safe Japanese driver. Big coach was clean and comfortable. The scenery along the way was beautiful. Everything went well. We were very lucky to have a guide who spoke clearly and gave detailed instructions, information and recommendations both verbally and through WhatsApp. The itinerary was excellent with sufficient time at every stop. The tour is self-guided so we enjoyed the flexibility to do what we want and roam around freely based on the many places suggested by 小Xi who WhatsApp the exact location on Google maps to us. He also provided maps and gave food suggestions. We stayed at Hotel MyStays Kanazawa. Rooms are clean and new but very small. Double bed is also very small for two people. Best to ask for twin beds when booking this tour. Breakfast at the hotel was great with a wide spread of local and continental food. Overall we enjoyed this tour very much. Highly recommend this over a day tour to Shirakawago/Takayama.

We were a small group of four, and our driver and guide, Master Ma, was patient, gentle, and helped us a lot. The scenery in Shirakawa-go is beautiful and highly recommended.

Rimiko is truly amazing. She made my trip to Kanazawa absolutely delightful and she was very helpful every step of the way. The best part was when she initiated contact to discuss expectations and what you wanted to see and experience. Other guides do this last minute but with her she did it way in advance. During the tour she explained things well and overall she made the whole experience so wonderful that I plan to stay longer in Kanazawa next time. Value for money 100% Value for experience 100% She's definitely my favourite guide.

A fruitful trip - day 1 was in Nagano, strawberries picked were extremely huge and sweet, took a nice walk at the wasabi farm and tried their wasabi ice cream as well, then had a decent dinner at Hotel Belle Cour Inomata with modern ryokan-style rooms and an onsen. Day 2 was a full day at the Tateyama Alpine Kurobe Route where we took various forms of transport like trolley buses and cable cars (some of which will cease operation end of 2024), and got to see the snow wall which was crowded with tourists. Do bring sunglasses as the snow can be terribly bright, and dress in layers. Our guide was pleasant, sincere and knowledgeable but could be clearer with his instructions (e.g. many of us didn’t catch key info like where to get lunch on our own). He could speak English/Mandarin fluently. Overall an enjoyable tour and a cool break from the warmer temperatures in the Kansai area in May/June. Would recommend!

Aiko was fabulous. She spoke very good English, Spanish, Japanese, and other languages. She was entertaining and educational, creating custom materials that enhanced the experience. The tour was a great way to see the village, garden, and geisha district, and to make candy and a gold leaf postcard. I recommend the full-day option. It's the best way to see it all.

This time, from January 12-13, 2025, I participated in the Easy Go two-day, one-night tour, and the itinerary was excellent. There were two Chinese-speaking tour guides who thoughtfully introduced the order of visiting each attraction and shopping area.
Day 1: From Nagoya to Takayama, with a rest stop for restrooms in between. First stop: Takayama for 3 hours. Second stop: Shirakawa-go for 2 hours. Third stop: Hotel Wing International Premium Kanazawa Ekimae.
Day 2: First stop: Kanazawa – Kenrokuen Garden + Kanazawa Castle Park for 2 hours. Second stop: Omicho Market for 1.5 hours. Third stop: Higashi Chaya District for 1.5 hours. The drive from Kanazawa to Nagoya is 3.5 hours, with a stop at the rest area "Snack Corner Hirugano Kogen SA (Uplink)."
