Such an amazing experience and honestly my personal highlight of our Japan trip. Make a reservation in advance as they get quite busy, but everyone was very efficient and kind. I wish I had asked for everyone's names so I could thank them individually. They have a beautiful selection of women and men's kimonos - the act of choosing one was so much fun, I definitely think it's worth it to upgrade to the lace kimonos and accessories if you can. For the gals, they gave you several choices for a lovely hairstyle-- and they did such a good job on me and my sisters, and the hairstyles held up all day! They even offer you super cute accessories that include bags, parasols and even a katana to keep some of your belongings while you go and about in your kimonos. Highly recommend booking a photographer. We had Steven, who spoke English, and made the experience so special. He took us to a beautiful temple and gave great direction and fun ideas for the photos! 10/10 would do again!

It was a fantastic experience, even though this exhibit is more interactive and more suitable for children. The previous one I went to, teamLab Borderless in Tokyo, was more surreal. Please note that it is a bit of a distance from Kyoto Station.

Incredible experience, Sensai provided great guidance whilst we created our pottery. Location is easy to find and prices are great value for money. Appreciate they offered to take plenty of photos for us too. Highly recommend this experience, it was a highlight of our trip, we would do it again in a heartbeat.

It was a visit to Kyoto with the kids. The weather was on-and-off rainy, but the itinerary was packed with great activities. Our guide even pre-booked a famous restaurant for us, which made the time even more enjoyable. Next time, I think it would be good to stay in Kyoto for more than two days.

Celý zážitek teamLab BioVertex byl dechberoucí! Každá místnost měla svou jedinečnou atmosféru plnou světel, zrcadel a zvuků, díky nimž jste se cítili, jako byste procházeli živým uměleckým dílem. Přechody mezi místnostmi byly plynulé a bylo to tak pohlcující, že čas opravdu letěl. Moje nejoblíbenější část byla, jak se světla a odrazy zdály pohybovat s vámi – je to nepodobné jakémukoli muzeu nebo výstavě, na které jsem kdy byl. Celkově je to magický zážitek, který stimuluje všechny vaše smysly. Ať už jste milovník umění, fotograf, nebo jen hledáte něco nezapomenutelného, co dělat v Kjótu, teamLab BioVertex je nutností! Rozhodně stojí za cenu vstupenky.

Kimono rentals are always a must, and this studio definitely delivered! They were friendly and gentle when assisting with dressage and hair, and their kimono selection is beautiful. Just be careful of which location you booked! I didn’t realize I booked to go to a different one, but since it’s the same owner, they still serviced me flawlessly.
