We had an amazing experience on our Nara, Fushimi Inari Taisha and Kyoto tour! Our guide Willa was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made every moment enjoyable with fascinating stories and local insights. Everything was well-organized, and we felt truly taken care of throughout the day. It was the perfect way to explore these beautiful places—highly recommended! 1000/10!

Had a great time, excellent service. It was a group tour but felt very free, with a reasonable schedule that wasn't rushed, allowing ample free time at each stop. The Ine Boathouses were truly peaceful and full of life, and Miyama was more pristine than I imagined. The guide was very professional, explaining everything clearly and patiently, and clearly communicated meeting points and times. The day was relaxing yet fulfilling. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy the scenery without the hassle of planning their own itinerary.

Our tour guide, Hua Hua, is the best a group could ask for. He's very funny and keeps our group lively. He constantly updates us on what to expect and the places to visit around Arashiyama. He's also a good singer! Thank you for hosting us, Hua Hua!

The guide got his stories from the locals and retold them to us very well. His humor was excellent, and the way he brought the stories to life for us was also very good.

I took this tour with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide, Aki, was kind, informative, and always made sure no one was left behind. I really enjoyed the historical facts she provided as we walked through the gardens of Tenryu-ji Temple. The photos speak for themselves regarding how beautiful it was. After reading the reviews, I wasn't expecting much from the lunch buffet, but I actually liked it. It gave me Japanese school camp mess hall vibes and was tasty. Everything went according to plan, and based on my experience, I would 100% recommend this tour. However, I understand that some people are unlucky when the boat ride is canceled due to low water levels or excessive rain, and the river ride is a huge part of the experience. Our tour guide, Yuzu, provided incredibly detailed and vivid explanations, and shared many interesting local stories. She was also very thoughtful in helping us take photos to remember our trip. Even when we didn't book meals, she enthusiastically recommended delicious restaurants. The overall service was very comprehensive, and the travel experience was extremely pleasant. Katsuo-ji Temple, with its abundance of Daruma dolls, was very eye-catching and interesting, creating a unique atmosphere. Even just the streets surrounding Kiyomizu-dera Temple were great for browsing. Remember to set aside some time to get a Goshuin (temple stamp) inside the temple; it's a wonderful souvenir. The ancient and picturesque scenery of Arashiyama was breathtaking. Taking a rickshaw deep into the secret bamboo forest paths was truly an experience worth having!

My family and I, together with my wife and our 7 year old daughter, joined a wonderful day tour visiting Katsuoji Temple, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, and the famous Kiyomizu-dera. The entire trip was well organized and very enjoyable for all of us. Each destination offered something special. Katsuoji Temple was peaceful and unique with its many Daruma dolls, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove was breathtaking, and Kiyomizu-dera was truly impressive with its beautiful views and historic atmosphere. What made the tour even more memorable was our guide, Nick. He was entertaining, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Throughout the trip he shared interesting facts, stories, and historical insights about each location, making the journey both fun and educational. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for my family. Nick’s enthusiasm and guidance made the tour smooth, engaging, and very memorable. Highly recommended for families visiting Osaka and Kyoto.

The Kyoto & Nara Day Trip with Theodore Chan was a very enjoyable experience. Theodore is a knowledgeable and friendly guide who shares interesting insights about Japanese history and culture, which made the visit much more meaningful. The itinerary covered beautiful and iconic places in both Kyoto and Nara, and everything was well organized. Seeing the temples, shrines, and the famous deer in Nara was definitely a highlight. The only thing that could make the tour even better would be having a little more time at each location to explore and enjoy the places more calmly. Overall, it was still a great experience and a good way to see both Kyoto and Nara in one day.
