Peter was an awesome tour guide. He arrived at my place 15 minutes earlier. Luckily, I had the entire LC to myself. We first toured the Nairobi National Park, then the Elephant Orphanage, and lastly, the Giraffe Centre to feed the giraffes. The entire trip was very chill and educational about Kenya's animals. It really made me happy. :)

I took the Naivasha & Nakuru tour. Our guide, Paul, was very kind and helpful throughout the tour, providing clear instructions on what to do. He's also an excellent driver. We were able to maximize our tour time with minimal travel. It was a delightful trip.

Itinerary: Day 1: Meet-up - Great Rift Valley - Camp - Maasai Mara - Camp. Day 2: Breakfast - Maasai Mara - Camp. Day 3: Breakfast - Maasai Mara Village - Return to original meeting point. First, a summary: the itinerary provided by the merchant, sent via email after payment, was the same as what was written on the Klook page. However, what I've written above is the final itinerary, which has many differences! Luckily, I brought extra money; I would have been furious otherwise 😌. The Great Rift Valley actually doesn't have much to see. There were many tourists there. The driver said we'd stay for 15 minutes and then leave, but honestly, 10 minutes for photos would have been enough. We arrived at the camp around 3:30 PM, dropped off our belongings, had lunch, rested, and then gathered to go to Maasai Mara. We arrived around 4:30 PM, took photos at the entrance, paid, and drove in. Since we only had two hours, we looked at animals near the entrance. Most were herbivores, and we were lucky enough to see a cheetah, which I heard is very rare to spot. I don't know, since we saw it on our first day! We drove around, watched the sunset, and left around 7 PM. We returned to the camp for dinner and rest. It takes about 10 minutes from the camp to Maasai Mara. After paying at the entrance, we continued our journey, going deep inside. Kevin was truly dedicated; he made a great effort to show us the animals we wanted to see and was excellent at positioning the vehicle. It was fantastic! For lunch, we had packed meals, which were very generous. However, we had four Muslim group members, and the bread contained pork, which made them look very helpless~ In the afternoon, we were taken to see fierce animals by the river, accompanied by armed soldiers? They led us to the river on foot to see the animals, which lasted about 15 minutes. Finally, we got back in the car to look for more animals. We saw many lions, giraffes, and elephants. The whole journey was quite pleasant. Towards the end, around 5 PM, we had to cross a river, and that's when disaster struck. The car got stuck by the river. We got out and let the driver and a staff member who came with us from the camp that morning handle it. They worked on it for a very long time but couldn't fix it. Finally, three other cars came to help us, and we eventually got out of the river. The car was also in bad shape, moving at about 10 km/h and stalling occasionally 🤣. However, at this slow speed, we could really take our time looking for animals! But I guess the driver was completely done. He eventually called for other cars to replace ours, and we left without looking for more animals~ I guess it was an experience 😆. On the last day, we visited the Maasai Mara village. I have to say, my itinerary didn't mention going there. I had researched online before and knew there wasn't much to see and they would charge a lot. But the group members didn't seem to know they had to pay, so when we arrived and the Maasai people said we needed to pay to enter, you could see their surprise 🙄. Someone stepped forward to ask if we could bargain, and in the end, we got in with a cheaper ticket price. Anyway, it was just as described online: welcome singing at the entrance - photos - going inside to see houses - making fire with bricks and wood - forced selling of goods - end. Oh! They are very good at promoting things, but I'm not good at bargaining, so I just considered it a sponsorship! After all, we did get a discount on the entrance fee, though it wasn't my doing at all 🤣. Afterwards, we went directly back to the original meeting point, stopping at a gas station along the way, and didn't have lunch.

It was a great day with Mike. He picked us up on time and shared all his knowledge about the animals in the park. He made a great effort so that we were able to see the Big Five. He even rushed to find the lioness in the park.

A very worthwhile experience. Our guide, Peter, was very fit and accompanied me throughout the climb up Mount Longonot. He was very talkative but also respected boundaries. Additionally, I booked a small group tour, and even though I was the only participant, the trip still went ahead and wasn't canceled. Highly recommend! You can definitely try this short trip.
