De Bangkok: Experiência na Ilha Nemo com fotos de drone e almoço

We booked a day trip from Bangkok to Samae San Island and it was a great experience! Pick-up from our hotel was at 6:50 am in a comfortable van, with a quick stop at Khao Chi Chan for photos. At the meeting point we met our guide Koko, who was very friendly and explained the plan. Lockers, showers, and changing rooms were available which was very convenient. The speedboat ride itself was fun, and we had three island stops – first in shallow water to snorkel with fishes, second in deeper water where we could free dive and even take photos with Nemo (guides help if you can’t swim), and the third on a beautiful beach with paddle boards. Lunch was included at a nice restaurant. After activities we could shower and change with clean towels and hairdryers provided. We got back to our hotel in Bangkok around 6:15 pm. Overall, very well organized and a perfect option if you want an island and snorkeling trip while staying in Bangkok!

This tour was truly dedicated to photography, especially if you want to take pictures with fish, you must choose this one! The drone photos also turn out very beautifully. Although I ended up looking like a seaweed monster, if you're a woman, I recommend tying your hair up tightly, haha. Even if you can't swim, everyone next to you will safely help you. Fish swim away if you swim, so I recommend just posing and making expressions for the photos 🤿 I highly recommend this place for great photos haha 😍 (Be careful of coral and rocks; we covered ourselves with leggings and aqua shoes, so we didn't get scratched).

Departing from Bangkok, a car was scheduled to pick us up promptly at 6:30 AM. The first stop on the itinerary was a temple (just a mountain with a Buddha statue), which was a bit boring. The highlight of the trip was definitely the snorkeling excursion, where the staff worked hard to take beautiful photos, capturing your best moments in the sea, which was greatly appreciated. Lunch was also included (a simple soup and rice meal), and then we returned to Bangkok.

The reviews saying they were serious about photos were true. It was a really great tour. - The tour bus wasn't a cramped minivan but a spacious bus, and it stopped at rest areas exactly when we wanted to relax. - The snorkeling gear was clean. Usually, when you wear life jackets in Southeast Asia, they have a lot of mold, but here they were clean. - The shower facilities were amazing! You can rent towels and buy shampoo to use. - The boat was also good, and the tour staff were friendly! They even showed thoughtfulness by putting our drinks in the refrigerator to keep them cool! - Most importantly, the photos! The drone shots were really cool, and they helped us take great pictures in front of Nemo. You can get good photos even if you can't swim! - Oh! Lunch was delicious too~~ I truly recommend it! It's the best!

I was very hesitant at first because it was my first time snorkeling. Now that I've been, it's become a tour I definitely want to include in my next trip! The driver, the overall guide Perry, and all the other guides were very kind. The guides communicated fluently in English, so I enjoyed the tour 300% without any difficulties. I was very worried about safety due to the nature of water tours, but they meticulously took care of everything from my belongings to my physical safety, so I could fully enjoy just snorkeling. Even if you can't swim at all, they give individual lessons at the first beach and provide enough time to practice. While you're floating and playing in the sea, they'll take pictures for you, tell you where to see corals, and tell you to just enjoy yourself. I thought 2 hours and 30 minutes for snorkeling was too short, but even as someone in my 20s, I had to push my stamina to the limit to enjoy it all. After it was over, I immediately fell asleep as if I had passed out, and I was mostly asleep on the way back to Bangkok. If you love water activities, this tour is definitely worth every penny. All three spots have completely different scenery, so make sure to go to all of them!! Towels can be rented for 20 baht per towel, and water is provided free of charge on the snorkeling boat. You don't need to bring a lot; just basic toiletries, skincare, water to drink on the way back, and cash to rent a towel are enough. The guides take so many photos that it feels like a photoshoot, and they send them to you on the same day, so just enjoy!

The car picked us up from home, and the pick-up and drop-off were very convenient and punctual. The service was good, and the diving was a lot of fun. There was a guide and an interpreter. For our meal, we ordered extra items beyond what the tour provided, as the package only included fried rice and tom yum goong. Personally, I thought the food was a bit little; we were very hungry after swimming, haha. We ordered other things additionally. The service was impressive, and we received photos and video clips very quickly.

It was a great experience and a very nice tour group to join. The pick-up and drop-off service at our hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly, greeting us and explaining the itinerary. Overall, it was a fantastic day trip, and a major highlight was the lovely lunch at the restaurant with a great view to conclude the trip!
