Avaliações
I’ve always wanted to visit Fontainebleau, so I’m really glad we were able to make this day trip happen. In my opinion, it’s absolutely worth visiting. The rooms are beautifully maintained and preserved, and the audio guide is exceptionally well designed. I honestly enjoyed Fontainebleau much more than Versailles and would highly recommend it. I didn’t know much about Vaux-le-Vicomte before this trip. Since it’s still privately owned, it isn’t maintained to the same standard as Fontainebleau, but the château itself is still fascinating. The story behind it is incredibly sad and unfortunate, and it’s often considered one of the inspirations for Versailles. One thing I wouldn’t recommend, though, is climbing up to the dome despite the staff’s suggestion. I made it halfway before turning back because the second and third floors felt extremely creepy — they were once used as hospital and surgery rooms during the wars.
The itinerary was great; both Fontainebleau Palace and Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle are places well worth exploring thoroughly. However, considering the traffic in Paris, sightseeing time can easily be cut short, leading to some attractions being rushed, which is a pity. Additionally, the vehicle wasn't very new, so those who are particular about cleanliness might find it less accommodating.
These two palaces are very different, but tracing their history is incredibly moving and meaningful, especially Vaux-le-Vicomte, a place full of poetic beauty, well worth a visit.
There's a shuttle bus that takes you to the destination, which is very convenient as it saves you the trouble of finding your own transportation. The return trip also drops you back in central Paris. Highly recommended.
The attractions are beautiful, and the bus is new and comfortable to ride.
Es fácil visitar los 2 palacios en un día. El guía turístico explicó claramente el punto de encuentro y de salida. El autocar era espacioso.
