Excursão a Glenfinnan, Glencoe e às Highlands Escocesas saindo de Edimburgo

I traveled alone on a day trip to Glenfinnan, Glencoe, and the Scottish Highlands. It was a very enjoyable experience—joining a group tour provided a comfortable journey, a professional driver, and informative introductions about the history of each stop. I truly appreciated the experience, and it has become an unforgettable part of my solo trip. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone traveling alone.

That was an amazing experience 🫶🏻 Great and very well organised. This was a superb tour. The Highlands of Scotland were beautifully crafted, with mountains taking us through the long history of the island and its travels. The expert guide who accompanied us was outstanding: passionate, informative, engaging, and entertaining. The itinerary was very well thought out.

I saw a review from a Japanese person who booked what seemed to be this tour, and as a Harry Potter enthusiast, I thought, "This is a great opportunity!" and booked it 🧙‍♂️✶ It turned out to be fantastic 👏🏻🌿✨. Besides the Harry Potter-related locations, there was so much more than I expected, like being able to eat famous Scottish whisky ice cream and meet Highland cows! I went with a friend who is fluent in English and myself, who isn't quite as proficient, but the explanations were easy to understand, and the humorous tone made it very enjoyable. (Even if your English isn't great, the content is so good that you'll enjoy it, but if you understand some, you'll have more fun with the historical background stories and jokes!) We sang Queen songs together, and the journey itself felt like a unique overseas bus tour, which was great 🎶. Our guide was a woman named Holly 🫶🏻. Thank you for a wonderful tour!! (There were families, couples, and solo travelers on the tour, so I think it can be enjoyed by a wide range of generations!) (There were some slight inclines to get to viewpoints! Watch your shoes 👟)

Un gran viaje de un día para ver las Tierras Altas, que también son hermosas bajo la lluvia. El guía nos dio historia y un breve recorrido durante todo el viaje con una agradable lista de reproducción escocesa. Hicimos una breve parada para tomar fotos en Glencoe. El Viaducto de Glenfinnan, lo más destacado, era bonito y valía la pena una pequeña caminata. Pero el tren se retrasó 10 minutos, así que tuvimos que regresar corriendo al autobús. Ojalá hubiéramos podido pasar más tiempo allí. Luego nos detuvimos en un pequeño pueblo para tomar helado y un refrigerio. Hicimos paradas para desayunar, almorzar y tomar algo antes de regresar, donde también vimos algunas vacas peludas.

The guide, Shug, was engaging and quite funny throughout the day trip. He shared personal stories and also pointed out places where they filmed Harry Potter movies. This day trip is a good way to explore without getting too tired, plus you get to enjoy awesome views! The stops were well-paced, and we even got to buy some nice ice cream!

Mark was an amazing guide!! Kept us safe, informed and entertained. too bad Fort William was abit disappointing in terms of food and shops. The Highlands is beautiful. Wish we had more time Pitlochry.

Shug was a great guide and bus driver. Kind, professional, and funny! Though overall the tour itself was a bit fast-paced, understandable as it is far and only a day trip. But still enjoyed the whole tour. This tour is good if you have limited time in Scotland and you want to see the highlights of the Highlands.

Un imprescindible para todos los que quieran disfrutar plenamente y aprender más sobre las Tierras Altas y su historia. Lo hicimos en diciembre, hacía frío, la verdad, pero la nieve fue un extra que hizo que el paisaje, ya de por sí hermoso, fuera aún más impresionante.

It was a very worthwhile day trip filled with picturesque views. Even when you're on the bus, the views and landscapes surrounding the journey are filled with lush, rolling green mountains, amazing lakes and rivers, a cottony-looking sea of sheep, and castles. The biggest plus was the guide/driver (Connor) who was truly amazing with his humor and jokes throughout the 10-hour journey. He also told us stories of English medieval times, and it was truly very interesting to learn. It's a highly recommended tour if you are looking for an adventure and a getaway to the beautiful highlands of Edinburgh city.
