Wadi Shab e Bimmah Sinkhole

We loved the trip. Abdullah was very patient and had great time management allowing us to beat the crowds and the heat. Highly recommend wearing proper footwear as the path can be very slippery especially when you start swimming.

Wadi Shab was an incredible experience. The hiking level ranged from easy to medium. Wear hiking and swimming shoes, and come during the winter. When I went there, it was quite hot, so it was difficult, but the view was worth it. Bring plenty of water if you're coming this time. Leave your towel and other items in the car. You can also rent life jacket for 1 OMR. Sinkhole was nice as well.

This was a fulfilling plan, with most of the two-hour one-way trip taken up by Wadi Shab. Bimmah Sinkhole felt like a bonus, with about a 30-minute stay. Since I went in December, it was a bit cold, but I managed to swim. It became a precious memory that I wouldn't easily experience elsewhere. The lunch was delicious, and I was satisfied. On a personal note, I forgot my shoes on the tour bus, but they delivered them to me later, for which I am very grateful! Life jackets are available for rent at 1 OMR.

It was a really great experience. The hike was worth it; people who are outgoing and love adventure will surely enjoy this. Excellent service and organized tour. Keep it up.

Wadi Shab is considered the number one tour in Oman, and for good reason. Given the price, they provide very friendly guidance from the day before, including detailed information about pickup. You can comfortably sleep during the drive, and upon arrival at Wadi Shab, they lend you life jackets before you enter. First, the guide moves with the group and takes good care of everyone, which was great. There were older people and relatively younger people, and it was impressive how the guide accommodated everyone appropriately during the tour. Additionally, if you can't swim, you absolutely cannot go. Even with a tube, you need to be able to swim on your own or have someone there to help you. When you reach the very end, it's not like it's incredibly amazing or super great! It's just the fun of swimming in a wonderful landscape. That's Wadi Shab. However, the sinkhole is just a sinkhole, nothing more. Moreover, those who were already tired from Wadi Shab just took photos at the sinkhole and returned. Lunch is included, and both the quantity and taste are quite good. Conclusion: It was a sufficiently good tour that was worth the price.

Hiking difficulty: Very easy! And the scenery along the way is beautiful! Tour guide: I really liked our guide Rashid! He planned the itinerary clearly and reasonably, making sure we all had a great time. He's also very talkative and sincere, and takes care of everyone. The fried chicken drumsticks were incredibly delicious!

This tour was organized by GidOman Tours, and the guide/driver was very responsible. The main activity was visiting Wadi Shab, involving a 45-minute walk, after which you can swim upstream into the wadi's interior, which was a great experience. If you can't swim, you can rent a life jacket for 1 rial, which will make it much easier. The Sinkhole was simpler, with a shorter stay. Lunch was at a restaurant near Wadi Shab. I personally recommend this tour.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, Abdulla was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about his work and the natural beauty of Oman. He provided clear instructions and ensured everyone in the group felt safe and comfortable throughout the hike.
