My experience on the Luxe Bus private tour of the Great Ocean Road was absolutely outstanding! We started early, taking the reverse route to avoid the crowds, which allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the 12 Apostles and other famous landmarks in peace. The coffee and chocolate tasting stop we had, along with the included lunch, was excellent. Our visit to Wildlife Wonders gave us an up-close encounter with wild koalas and kangaroos. Our guide was incredibly personable and knowledgeable, making the day both informative and fun. Truly a first-class experience—highly recommend!

I've always been drawn to the beauty of the Great Ocean Road, but the thought of long hours in a car made me a bit apprehensive. After inquiring about private car hire, I felt it was a bit over budget for just one person. I booked this tour still worried about the journey being too tiring or not eating well. It turns out our worries were completely unfounded. This small group tour was absolutely fantastic! I joined 10 other people, and the approximately twelve-hour trip, including lunch, was just over $300 per person. We traveled in a Mercedes-Benz the whole way, which I felt was incredibly good value. Our guide was very patient and professional, providing detailed explanations of each attraction and restaurant recommendations along the way. Upon arriving at the attractions, the guide even specially parked and led us through the itinerary, completely unlike other tours we booked later with different agencies, where the driver would just drop us off and leave us to it. Our itinerary was different from most travel agencies; we didn't go to the crowded chocolate factory but instead tasted chocolates at a boutique shop recommended by locals. The chocolates there were reasonably priced, and the salted caramel flavor was especially delicious! Besides the classic Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and Apollo Bay, we also fed alpacas and saw wild koalas, kangaroos, and other wildlife. Most importantly, the guide cleverly adjusted the tour route and visiting times, allowing us to avoid crowds at every attraction. We didn't feel crowded at all, even during the National Day holiday. I am so glad I chose this tour; I must give it a thumbs up and highly recommend it!
