The tour was super organized. We left Manila at midnight so that we would arrive early at the meeting point for the 4x4 tour. On the way there and back, we made a stop where we could eat (choice between several fast-food chains or a gas station with baked goods). During the 4x4 ride to Mt. Pinatubo, you can get very dusty, so it makes sense to bring a change of clothes. The landscape is beautiful, the crater lake and Mt. Pinatubo, and the hike (approx. 50 min) there is incredibly beautiful.
The tour really fits a one-day itinerary for hiking+adventure, if you're looking for one. It's set-up well and the facilitators make sure that you will do what you intended to do. I've been wanting to experience hiking Mt. Pinatubo, and with a very limited time in Manila, I got to do it without any fuss. This is highly recommended.
The whole trip was exhausting but incredibly worthwhile! The scenery is truly beautiful. From departure to reaching the volcano, I can roughly divide it into three sections: the first section by jeep, the second section walking along the riverbed, and the third section starting the climb. Along the way, you'll pass some small streams. In the second and third sections, you will definitely step into water, so your feet will get wet! Sometimes the water can be calf-deep, so it's recommended to wear waterproof shoes and quick-drying pants. The second and third sections take about 2 hours. There's a small, rustic restroom at the top, but it's still advisable to use the restroom before starting the activity and to bring some small dry snacks.
Had a great experience. Scenery was stunning. Hike was not so difficult. The guides were very helpful. Mt. Pinatubo is a must-visit!
Most fun and amazing experience!! The booking was fairly easy and straightforward. We had adequate stops throughout the trip and it was a safe environment for all types of travelers. Would recommend for those wanting to do a quick and easy hiking trip!! Mt. Pinatubo is a beautiful scenery that you won’t want to miss out on!
The view of the crater is simply amazing. The journey during sunrise, with all those purplish and orange hues in the sky, was made even more special by the full moon still being visible at dawn. As with most beautiful experiences, there's a small price to pay: you'll likely need to nap the day before or you won't be able to sleep in the car. Don't worry, we all managed to sleep in the 4x4 on the way back to camp, despite the super bumpy ride. The view is definitely worth it. Bring plenty of your favorite food; you can also get some snacks at the camp.
1. This itinerary is not recommended for the elderly or those with mobility issues, as it involves a 2:30 AM meeting time, extensive travel, and a particularly strenuous 1-hour ride over bumpy terrain in an off-road vehicle. It requires significant physical stamina. 2. Before boarding the off-road vehicle and starting the hike, it's advisable not to eat too much, as the bumpy ride could cause motion sickness. 3. We recommend bringing enough dry food or bread for two meals. 1000cc of water should be sufficient. Wear sandals or flip-flops, as cloth shoes may get wet and muddy, making them difficult to clean. 4. We highly recommend wearing a mask to protect against inhaling sand and dust. A hat that can be secured to your head is also suggested to provide sun protection and prevent it from being blown away by strong winds. Sunglasses are recommended to shield your eyes from sand, dust, and sunlight. 5. The crater lake is truly beautiful and well worth a visit.

火口湖很漂亮，但交通時間非常長：搭廂型車來回馬尼拉約十個小時，再換吉普車來回約六個小時，徒步健行來回約五公里，是一個很需要體力的一日遊
Wear hiking sandals as you’ll be trekking through water 60% of the time! The view is absolutely worth it on a clear day - but the clouds move fast and the view changes very quickly, so try to get to the peak as soon as possible
