Ur-Mu is een fantastische kunstgalerie, strategisch gelegen nabij Bukit Bintang, waardoor het gemakkelijk bereikbaar is vanuit het bruisende hart van de stad. Ik bezocht het op een regenachtige dag, en het sombere weer buiten maakte de ervaring van het verkennen van de kunst binnenin eigenlijk nog boeiender. De galerie toont een indrukwekkende reeks kunstwerken, schilderijen en sculpturen van getalenteerde lokale Maleisische kunstenaars, wat een uniek inzicht biedt in de creatieve scene van het land. Het behulpzame personeel maakte het bezoek aangenaam. Ik kijk ernaar uit om binnenkort de andere twee Ur-Mu locaties te bezoeken.

Fue una experiencia realmente agradable. Las instalaciones de arte eran geniales y el personal fue amable. También nos encantó que tuvieran sillas preparadas que te permitían apreciar más el arte. Un piso incluso tenía agua a mano por si te daba sed, jajaja. El edificio tiene cinco pisos y se puede recorrer rápidamente, pero nos tomamos nuestro tiempo y fue realmente increíble. También tuvimos suerte porque nuestro horario aparentemente no era muy popular, así que aparte de nosotros apenas había gente. ¡Se sintió como una visita privada!

Small venue, but it makes up for that with the artworks they have on display. Each floor has 2 dedicated themes and there are 5 floors to explore. So, expect a nice variation of art subjects. When going there on foot just make sure you don't walk past the place, because it's a bit hidden. That happened to me btw. haha.

Tempatnya sangat dekat dengan MRT Bukit Bintang jadi Anda bisa naik kereta untuk mencapai tempat tersebut. Semua bagiannya sangat indah dan tempatnya sendiri terawat dengan baik. 👍🏻 Pasti akan merekomendasikan tempat ini kepada teman-teman saya.

The art was nice, and we were given 1.5 hours to see all 5 floors. The place isn't that big; you can finish sightseeing in 30 minutes, but it provides chairs and sofas if you want to stay a little bit longer.
