Tour Mandarim pelas Blue Mountains Zoo, Coalas, Leura e Scenic World

Tour guide was friendly. Itinerary was OK. The funicular tram ride was exhilarating for my 2 kids. Blue mountains were breathtaking. The inclusive Sydney Zoo Koala digital phototaking was cool too. Just that we didnt get to spend longer time visiting it as our Itinerary was packed full. Leura Village was okay, nothing much to do there except to shop.

The itinerary was well-organized and allowed us to experience so much within a short time. Our guide, Alfie, spoke beautiful British English and fluent Mandarin. His bilingual commentary was fun and engaging throughout the trip. He also helped everyone take great photos — truly excellent service! Each guest received a bottle of water and a pack of snacks, which was a thoughtful touch. The Blue Mountains cableway ticket included all three lines, making it a great value. For the lunch in Leura, highly recommend Plan ahead which restaurant to go before dining, so you can save time and explore the town within the one-hour lunch break.

Simon is a very helpful and friendly coach, he is always on time and drives safely. This tour is probably suitable for families and people who don't drive. Besides, Simon has a good sense of humour. Thanks to his introductions, we understood the history of different spots like Sydney Zoo, Leura village, the Blue Mountains, and the story of the Three Sisters, etc. All of us had a great one-day tour! If you don't have many plans, you can arrange this tour; at least the guide is easy to get along with (the trip wasn't particularly amazing). ■ 8:00 AM: Gather and board the large tour bus. ■ 9:00 AM: Sydney Zoo: - First, feed the kangaroos, then take photos with the koalas, followed by 40 minutes of free time. - Australian zoos are very comfortable and not crowded, very peaceful; we all loved it. ■ 12:00 PM: Arrive at Leura, a small town: - 1 hour for lunch; it's recommended to choose your desired restaurant in advance, otherwise, food service is very slow. - Basically, there's no time to explore the town, which is a shame (next time, I'd like to drive there myself). ■ 1:10 PM: Echo Point Lookout: - Mainly to see the Three Sisters rock formation. - Take photos; the mountains are quite uninteresting. ■ 2:00 PM: Scenic World: - Only rode the Red Line Railway: two round trips. Highly recommend the front row, not scary. - Blue Line was under maintenance. - Someone fell into the valley near the Yellow Line, so it was out of service. The guide was Alfee, an Australian who studied and worked in China for ten years, so he speaks both English and Chinese. He's very friendly and willing to answer questions. Since we only got to ride one type of cable car, they specially took us to see "Pig's Head Rock" as compensation.

These combo activities are a blast and totally worth trying out, especially if you get to hang with our tour guide, Alfie. This guy knows so much about the local culture and has a ton of fun facts to share! He’s fluent in Mandarin and English, so he’ll fill you in on all the cool spots and share some awesome stories about their history. If you want a cool way to get to know the area better, I definitely recommend him! This tour is perfect for solo travelers or families looking to explore together.

This tour group was accompanied by a driver and a local Australian guide, Alfie, who spoke fluent Chinese, ensuring seamless communication. His introductions were very humorous. We received an email notification the day before the trip, and mineral water was provided upon boarding. The entire group of 50 people was full. The content and experience were rich, and there was plenty of free time! Compared to other zoos in Australia, Sydney Zoo is quite comprehensive in terms of landscaping, flow, and animal variety. Besides feeding kangaroos, taking photos with koalas was also very interesting! In New South Wales, you can't touch or hold koalas, but just taking a photo with them in the trees was very therapeutic~~ We even had some awake koalas for our later groups! The staff took about 6 photos per group, then provided a QR code. After scanning, you could get the digital files! Super cute! You could also purchase printed photos on site. We spent about 1.5 hours at the zoo, which has three main areas. We primarily visited the special Australian animal section. The guide first introduced and led us to feed kangaroos and take photos with koalas, followed by about 40 minutes of free time, which was ample. We had about 1 hour for lunch in the town of Leura, where the guide carefully introduced restaurants and unique shops to explore. I chose a pizza place, Pizza Sublime, which I personally found convenient and delicious! The price was also reasonable. Then I ordered an iced latte at the coffee shop Sparrows Leura, highly recommended!! In the afternoon, we went to the Blue Mountains, which is truly a weather-dependent trip! Luckily, it was sunny when we arrived (it was cloudy in the morning), and you only get the 'blue' feeling with good weather~~ Taking the three types of cable cars in Blue Mountains National Park was also super fun and interesting. The guide led the entire group, walking and enjoying themselves, so there was no need to worry about getting lost! His explanations of the landscape and temperate rainforest were also very detailed. Although it meant less independent exploration compared to a self-guided tour, we still got to experience the most essential parts of the itinerary. On the way back, everyone received a small packet of biscuits. Guide Alfie did not explicitly collect tips from everyone. The day's itinerary and the guide's arrangements made us feel very well taken care of. Overall, I think it was excellent! The group time wasn't boring, there was plenty of free time, and we got to experience every detail! This day trip is highly recommended for travelers without a car or a local guide! The tour guide was Yafei, a Caucasian man who spoke excellent Chinese. The travel agency sent an email to my inbox the day before. The boarding process was smooth. Because it was Chinese New Year, there were many people in the group. However, the process went very smoothly. First, we went to the zoo to feed kangaroos and take photos with koalas. The kangaroos were very gentle and could be petted. Then we went to Leura town for lunch. I recommend the K-burger kangaroo meat burger at Cafe Leura. In the afternoon, we went to the Blue Mountains to see the Three Sisters peaks and ride the cable car and scenic railway. The queue was long, but the train was the most interesting part. We returned to Sydney around 4 PM and got off the bus at 6 PM. This day trip, including tickets, a guide, and round-trip bus fare at this price, is truly excellent value for money.
