Two members of our group had past experiences with severe motion sickness, so we requested to take the alternative route via the A1 highway to avoid the winding roads and head straight to the 12 Apostles. Taking this route meant the full-day tour would have been shorter, but Ange took the initiative to suggest additional scenic stops along the way to ensure we still made the most of our time and have a memorable experience. He also recommended good stopovers for food. The drive was safe, smooth, and well-paced, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the journey. Ange’s local knowledge, warm personality, and ability to adapt to our needs added a personal and memorable touch to the trip. Highly recommended. Melvin took us on a reversed itinerary for Great Ocean Road. He is a knowledgeable guide who engages us. He is most patient and accommodating and doesn't hurry us through the places of interest and allows us ample time to explore and soak in the sights. We booked another 2 private tours with Melvin for Mornington Peninsula and Phillip Island. Had very enjoyable experiences with Melvin and would certainly engage him again should we return to Melbourne or even for other states of Australia.
