Excursão de um dia às Gargantas de Verdon e aos Campos de Lavanda

Tuvimos la suerte de disfrutar de un clima excelente y lo pasamos de maravilla. Nuestro guía turístico, Alessandro, fue puntual y nos cuidó muy bien, especialmente cuando uno de nuestros amigos experimentó mal de altura. Alessandro también tenía muchos conocimientos y pudo explicarnos datos curiosos e historia de las cosas que vimos en el camino. Personalmente, encontré el desfiladero de Verdon tan increíblemente hermoso, y mis amigos estaban muy contentos de haber visto los campos de lavanda en flor para tomar unas fotos geniales.

I visited some amazing places with multinational members. It was a good tour, although it was a shame we couldn't take a boat in the Verdon Gorge due to the weather.

Yannick, our guide, was kind and drove very well. I appreciated that he focused on driving on the rough roads. Thanks to him, we had a fulfilling day.

David is a very professional guide. He was also an excellent driver. On the way, he told us about the history of France. He was attentive to my mother and me every moment, taking care of us. As a guide who knew all the good viewpoints, we comfortably enjoyed the beautiful scenery. My English was not good enough to express my gratitude more fully, but I believe he knows how satisfied and thankful my mother and I were. David's wife, Nana, was equally professional, kind, and gentle. She told us many stories and engaged us in conversation, which made my mother very happy. Spending the last day of our 43-day European trip with David and Nana made it even more meaningful and happy. I wish them good health and only good things to happen. They are such wonderful people, so I'm sure that will be the case, but I wish them happiness!!!

Thanks to Matt, we had a really smooth and amazing tour. Matt is a very kind and knowledgeable English-speaking guide. His almost non-stop explanations, sometimes with humorous touches, greatly amused me. I will definitely recommend him to everyone 💜. We took so many great pictures.

As mentioned in other reviews, I first received a call about the pick-up service the night before (around 8 PM). Until then, I was worried if the tour would actually take place, so I would have appreciated an earlier contact. However, everything else was excellent! The guide was very attentive to details and extremely kind, and all the places we stopped at were very charming. Although it wasn't high season for lavender, they still took us to a spot where some were blooming, which allowed us to imagine the magnificent scenery!

Highly recommend Jaba! Our guide was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly, taking great care of us throughout the trip. The little stops between attractions were also fantastic, making it a truly worthwhile itinerary! You absolutely must visit if you come to the South of France!

The 8-person van is a Nissan, and it's not as comfortable as the Ford 8-person van I had in Marseille. The itinerary was a bit tight for Mustier; I had to eat lunch in the van. However, I had 45 minutes on the boat on the lake, which I can't complain about. The town of Castellano was a bit of a ghost town; I would have preferred to remove it from the itinerary.

It was a great value-for-money trip! The Verdon tour was actually quite expensive, but at this price, I thought I'd give it a try. And I truly respect the passionate grandpa guide who has traveled the world! He spoke seven languages and told us historical stories, which I regret not understanding completely. It was a bit disappointing that we had to rush, as is typical with package tours, but it would be great for those who find public transport or renting a car difficult!
