Experiência ilimitada de sandboard em Port Stephens

Endless sandy beaches (or deserts?), the environment is absolutely beautiful. The children slid down again and again, and seeing their excited and happy reactions, I, despite being lazy, was very happy to carry the sandboard up the high dune again and again, so I could slide down with the children.

Clear instructions given for you to locate their pick-up point. It is easy, fun and safe to sandboard. You can play as many times as long you have the energy to climb up the sand slope. The sand is very fine and doesn't hurt your skin.

I had a last-minute change of schedule and called the tour company 30 minutes before the tour started. They were kind enough to allow me to change from the morning slot to the afternoon slot. There are two sandboarding operators in the area, so make sure to follow the instructions in the booking to reach the correct place (Google 'Anna Bay 4WD access'). The 4WD ride was bumpy, and the kids loved it. The staff gave clear instructions for sandboarding. The sand dunes were really tall, and the climb was super tiring, but the descent was fun. The adults only managed to slide three times, while the kids (4-6 years old) did their own mini slides where it was less steep outside the main sliding area.

Transport is provided from the car park to the sandy area. Winds are strong and the sun is shining! Dress appropriately and apply sunscreen! Sand will get into every crevice of your clothing, but it's worth it! Very safe and fun, highly recommended! Play as much as you want until you're done. I went on the slide about 6 times :D I can't get enough of it!

Wonderful way to experience the sand dunes, along with the fun 4WD ride! Super fun sandboarding down the dunes, but was such a pain to hike your way up! Flexible timing to return as well with the schedule of rides back to the car park!

¡Esto fue lo más divertido de la historia! Soy una mujer de mediana edad razonablemente en forma y me preocupaba tener demasiado miedo. Definitivamente me divertí tanto como mis hijos preadolescentes y adolescentes. Realmente fue genial para todas las edades y etapas (aunque no es pan comido subir a la cima... pero vale la pena la emoción de bajar). Fuimos a las 9:30 de la mañana y estábamos preocupados porque estaba un poco lloviznando con lluvia ligera intermitente. Resultó que esto fue perfecto. La humedad nos ayudó a bajar más rápido y hacía más fresco, lo cual fue positivo. Me imagino que si fuera mediodía sin nubes, haría bastante calor y sería agotador. En general, fue una gran mañana.

A great experience for a sandboarding session with a large sheltered area provided. The staff were helpful when I left my jacket there.

Free parking spaces at the lower car park is right next to their checkin counter, normally playing 90-120mins is much more than enough, good experience.

It is better to book the earliest sandboarding slot so there aren't too many people. Arrive at the location early to secure a parking space. You will need water, sunscreen, and to wear something tight that will protect you from the sand. Have fun!

It was my first time going for sandboarding. It seems scary at first but there is instructor over there guiding us on how to slide down. In addition, we also went for camel ride. It was fun and can’t wait to go back again next time!
