Absolutely great experience! I chose the 1.5-hour night tour, and I’d definitely recommend going for the later time if you’re visiting in summer. I actually ended up with a personal tour, which made the whole drive even better. Seeing Osaka Castle lit up at night, along with the tower, was a highlight. Make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes early, since there’s a short safety video you need to watch before driving. You can also rent a GoPro (extra cost) if you want to capture your driving experience — totally worth it if you want to relive the ride later. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to drive like Mario in Mario Cart 😁 Will definitely be doing this again. 5⭐️ to the crew.

If you're thinking about doing this, stop procrastinating and buy your tickets now – it's an incredible experience! Osaka was stunning at night, and it was perfect for us. We chose the 90-minute 8 PM session, and it was absolutely surreal. Make sure you have your international driver's permit before traveling; for us, it was obtained through the RACV in Victoria, Australia. Also, have your physical passport with you. Without both, you won't be able to participate. The karts themselves are 50cc two-strokes and can reach speeds of around 60-65 km/h, so they're definitely not toys. Normal road rules apply: you must use your indicators, stay within your lane, and stop at red lights, just as you would when driving a registered vehicle. My son (21 years old) and I had an absolute blast, yes, dressed in costume! We had two teams of six karts, which was great fun. It was a relatively quiet journey out to Osaka Castle before heading back through the city, where the streetlights, onlookers, and atmosphere truly came alive. Five stars to the team at Akiba Kart – it was definitely a highlight of our trip to Japan, a must-do experience! 🙌🏻

Gente fantástica, paseo fantástico. ¡Mucha diversión! ¡Sotaro es el mejor! Mantuvo a todos a salvo, tomó fotos, conectó GoPros para quienes lo desearon y señaló puntos de referencia. Definitivamente lo haría de nuevo por más tiempo. El recorrido nocturno es espectacular con las luces, la gente y los coches. Noviembre es agradable, ni frío ni caluroso. Clima perfecto.

The guide was very kind and fun. I was touched by how they took care of the guests from beginning to end, even in between. If I visit Osaka again, I'll definitely go karting again! I don't know why I hadn't tried karting until now 🥲

To everyone reading this review right now, I want to say that this is an absolute must-do experience if you're visiting Osaka. It's truly fun and exhilarating. Such enjoyable experiences are rare in life. The guide gives a brief explanation and then leads the way from the front, and all we have to do is follow. You don't need to worry about not being able to keep up, as they adjust the speed to match everyone!!! Once you set off, you'll experience the surprisingly fast kart speed, the sense of speed that comes with it, and the wind blowing past. It's truly thrilling! If you go with friends, the fun is doubled!! The guide leads you through major attractions, and if you stop at a traffic light in between, they quickly get off and take photos for you. (Tsutenkaku Tower, Abeno Harukas, Denden Town, etc.) It was an experience that made me think, "Wow, was there such a beautiful street in Osaka?" as I drove around. They took photos for us, adjusted the speed, and led the way at an appropriate pace from the front – it was perfect. It was truly the best. If you're debating between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes, definitely go for 1 hour 30 minutes. I thought 1 hour would be enough, but towards the end, I felt, "Ah, I wish I could ride a little longer!" Hahaha. Don't forget to bring your international driver's license, and I recommend arriving 30 minutes early to choose your costume and listen to the explanation. I... felt so grateful and happy to have had such an experience before I die. Coming to Osaka with friends, riding karts, cruising through the city's streets, taking photos, and driving... Just imagining it makes me happy, but experiencing it firsthand was truly the best.

THE BEST! You have to do this if you're in Japan. They have one in Tokyo too but it's more pricier. we had so much fun. they took great pic of you and your partner but I didn't share here. just some pic i manage to capture when we stopped. so so so sooo worth it.

The best experience and a great tour driver who drove with us and let us experience the heart of beautiful Osaka. We highly recommend this company; it was the best service, as our go-karting experience in Tokyo wasn't as good.
