The cafe outside the castle is very beautiful. The castle has a long history; the original castle was built in the late 13th century, and the current castle was rebuilt in the late 19th century. It fully showcases the life of the castle's owner in the first half of the 17th century, Pieter Corneliszoon Hooft, who was both a poet and the governor of the region, allowing visitors to see the diverse lives of the Dutch gentry at that time. Visiting Time: A quick tour takes about an hour. I, however, lingered for half a day. The ticket price includes a Chinese audio guide; staff at the ticket office will explain how to collect it. You can store your luggage after entering the castle's exhibition area. It is recommended to visit the castle interior first, then come out to take photos. Gardens: Don't miss the gardens outside the castle. From there, you can take panoramic photos of the castle from a high vantage point. With clear skies, it's easy to get great shots. I even captured magical oval-shaped clouds! Transportation: I took an Uber from Mercury City Hotel, which cost about EURO 25 and took 20 minutes to reach the castle. Everyone can also take a bus from the train station. Calling an Uber for the return trip doesn't require a long wait; I got a car in 5 minutes.

Take the train to Weep Station. After exiting the station, there's a bus (once an hour) you can take; Google Maps provides route guidance. You can pay by simply tapping your credit card when boarding and alighting. Unfortunately, I didn't get to visit the castle because my next leg of travel was unexpectedly canceled, forcing me to change my plans. However, the ticket was only valid for the specified date. Later, during a layover, I went to the castle to ask if I could still use it, but the staff said no, so I could only take photos from the outside!

It wasn't crowded and was very convenient to use. Upon arrival, the staff scanned our tickets immediately. The castle isn't very large; you can see everything in 1-2 hours. There are beautiful gardens around the castle, but unfortunately, it rained, so we couldn't explore them as much as we would have liked.

A very small and charming castle, with interactive games full of technology that help children learn more about the castle's history. It's definitely worth a visit.
