it it absolutely necessary to do it if you visit Chicago! amazing experience, the views are amazing, the explanation awesome and you just need to have enough good weather to enjoy it. must understand english or will be dificult to understand all explanations. easy to acces and really a must.

This was one of the best things I have spent my money on. Going on the cruise was such a great way to tour Chicago and actually learn about the history and culture of the city through its buildings. The guide was very much a showman and truly made something educational truly fun. The views are incredible and a must for everyone going to Chicago.

This was a fantastic tour and I learned a lot about why the city looks the way it does. The guide was very informative. We booked the 7:30 PM tour, which was during the golden hour, and saw both daylight and night views of the city.

A MUST-DO in Chicago, and I would recommend Shoreline Tours over other providers because 1) Our guide Joe was deeply passionate about the stories, and it shows - he made the river come to life and turned the city into a living museum of architecture. 2) The boat was comfortable. We passed by other tours' boats, which were so packed that the passengers looked like they were going to fall off the edge. 3) Started and ended on time. This tour changed my whole perspective of Chicago, in a good way. Recommend to time it with the golden hour for priceless skyline views (6pm slots in summer)
