Krabi Outback Explorer: Piscina de Esmeralda Wareerak Hotspring (de Krabi)

I would recommend the agency to put the Tiger Cave Temple as the first destination, and the pick-up time should be around 6-7 AM so tourists can enjoy and spend more time at the hot springs and the Emerald Pool. The van was a little late when they picked us up. It took almost 2 hours to get to the Emerald Pool from our hotel near Ao Nang Beach. We reached the Emerald Pool at 11 AM and only got to swim for 30 minutes. Going to the Blue Pool takes 30 minutes round trip. We had to meet up at 12 PM for lunch. A buffet lunch is included, but drinks need to be paid for; water is free. We had to leave the restaurant near the Emerald Pool at 12:50 PM. We reached Wareerak Hot Springs at 1:10 PM and only had 1 hour to relax. We departed at 2 PM, then reached the Tiger Cave Temple at 3 PM, where we only had 1 hour and 30 minutes to explore. The 1260 steps to the top of Buddha take 60-75 minutes to go up and down. The tour guide is great, water bottles are free, and they provided refreshments.

This was truly a wonderful tour. They were punctual for our meeting time, and the nature was especially beautiful! What I want to praise most is the female guide who explained everything as if singing; she was so kind that I was excited throughout the trip. She explained things very actively and also helped with taking photos. If I recall correctly, it was the August 18th tour, and we were in van 2. The driver was also kind, so I highly, highly recommend it! I made great memories with my mother!

The guide was polite and spoke English. The nature was awesome. The Emerald Pool and Hot Spring were good. We spent some good time there. Lunch was below average. We were dropped off from the Tiger Temple, so no comments on that. Overall, it was a simple day to spend with family. Transportation was average.

May/June is the rainy season. The tour officially starts at 10am because it has to be combined with another group. The pool was a bit underwhelming as it was crowded with people. The hot spring in the rain was also an exciting experience… The kayaking experience was good despite the rainy weather. We spent almost 2 hours there.

Great experience! I would definitely recommend doing this if you’re in Krabi or Ao Nang. The pools were so clear and blue, and the hot springs were amazing to relax in.

Emerald Pool is really beautiful and the onsen is very nice! Our guide Sean was humorous and took good care of us. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, so we couldn't enjoy it as much.

It looks exactly like the pictures. The weather was also great, so I was very, very satisfied with the scenery and the view. However, there are still a lot of people in the morning. The hot springs are so beautiful... but the weather was so nice that I couldn't sit in the hot spring water for a long time. Overall, I think it was a good tour to experience at least once.
