I had a fantastic experience on the Cradle Mountain day tour. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning mountains, peaceful lakes, and beautiful walking trails. It was the perfect place to enjoy nature and escape from the city. The tour was very well-organized, and we were given enough time to explore the area, take photos, and enjoy short walks. I especially loved the views around Dove Lake—they were truly unforgettable. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared interesting information about the local wildlife and history of the area, which made the trip even more meaningful. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tasmania. It’s a great way to experience the natural beauty of Cradle Mountain in just one day.

This Cradle Mountain trip was very satisfying; the scenery was spectacular, and the trail arrangements were just right. What I want to praise most is the tour guide; he was very professional and attentive, explaining things clearly along the way, ensuring there wasn't a single dull moment. He also paid attention to everyone's condition during the trip, making us feel very reassured. Because some mountain roads were winding, he constantly reminded everyone that if they felt carsick, they could tell him, and he even proactively asked each person how they were feeling. The itinerary itself was perfectly arranged, the scenery was beautiful, and transportation was smooth. Overall, it was a very comfortable journey, but the guide's attitude of "keeping everyone's well-being in mind" was what impressed me the most and is most worthy of praise. Highly recommended! The transportation was punctual and clean, and the transfers were all smooth. Overall, this trip is highly recommended and offers great value for money; I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Cradle Mountain.

The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the tour guide was very thorough in their explanations, with a touch of humor. Bottled water was provided on the bus, so there was no need to worry about forgetting your own. Our stop in the mural town was brief but sufficient. Remember to have your warm clothing ready before transferring to the shuttle, as the temperature drops noticeably once you're higher up the mountain. Although it's a shuttle, it's the same guide and group members; we just switch to a smaller vehicle to enter the national park's restricted area. The meal was simple, and we enjoyed lunch while gazing at the beautiful scenery. I imagine if the weather were good, we could even have a picnic on the grassland with our food.

The guide was a local. It was a large group tour, but the tour bus wasn't full. We got to see a wombat from afar. Cradle Mountain was beautiful, but it's much colder with strong winds, so pack warmer clothes before you go! The provided lunch was okay; there was a wrap with fruits and two cakes, and hot drinks were also available.

I had an incredible day trip to Cradle Mountain with McDermott and couldn't recommend it more. From start to finish, everything was well organised, making the experience relaxing and enjoyable. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about history, wildlife, and landscapes, while also being genuinely kind, patient, and welcoming throughout the day. Cradle Mountain itself was simply unreal. The scenery is truly remarkable, with breathtaking views that photos can hardly capture. What I especially appreciated was that the tour offered much more than just the mountain. We also visited charming local towns along the way, giving us the opportunity to explore, meet locals, and support small businesses, which made the experience feel even more authentic. It was the perfect balance of nature, local culture, and great hospitality.

I visited Cradle Mountain with David as our guide. Both my mum and I loved and thoroughly enjoyed the tour; it was wonderful! We highly recommend visitors join this tour, as David shared a lot of information about Tasmania and Cradle Mountain with us, led us to look for wombats, and was very helpful in every way!
