Compared to other hotels in the area, Sunrise is relatively new and the rooms are quite spacious, offering a 180° sea view. Relaxing on the balcony, listening to the sound of the waves, feels very leisurely. The facilities are a bit lacking, with only 2 swimming pools + 1 hot spring pool (and one for boating, RMB 88/half hour). It's fine on weekdays, but on weekends it gets very crowded. The package included 2 days of buffet breakfast and 1 night of buffet dinner, but I'd recommend not wasting your time on them 😅 If you're not driving, transportation is quite inconvenient. It takes over an hour to get there from Huidong High-Speed Rail Station (I took a taxi directly from Luohu, which cost RMB 380 including highway tolls and took 2 hours and 15 minutes).

The high-speed rail from Hong Kong West Kowloon to Huidongnan Station costs 114 RMB per person. A Didi ride to the hotel was 76 RMB. The hotel environment is first-class, but the facilities are very average; the swimming pool is small, and the hot spring pool is just okay. Its main draw is the sea view and sunrise, and one night's stay is sufficient. Breakfast and dinner are average. For the return trip, a Didi ride to Shili Yintan Phase 3 cost 100 RMB, and the bus back to Luohu Port was 25 RMB per person. This trip's transportation and hotel costs were approximately 1600 RMB in total. Floors 6-10 at the hotel cost an extra 100 RMB, and floors 11-20 cost an extra 200 RMB. My stay on the 5th floor was fine.

It's truly great value for money. The hotel, beach, and Niutouling Scenic Area (Reef Bar and sightseeing tower) all have many beautiful spots for photos. Plus, you can set off fireworks on the beach at night, making it a very enjoyable and activity-filled holiday.

The experience was excellent. Beibei, the young lady who checked us in, was very friendly. Not only did she upgrade us for free to a high floor on the 17th, but she also extended our check-out time to 2 PM. The room view was fantastic, with an endless sea and an infinite beach. The Reef Bar is right next to the hotel, just a 5-minute walk away, but it was too hot to stay there and take photos. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Remember to look for Beibei!

We came to the Sunrise Silver Sands Salt Crystal Hotel in Shuangyue Bay, drawn by its reputation, and the scenery before our eyes filled us with ecstasy. The hotel facilities and the surrounding landscape are all captivating. We were very happy to travel here this Christmas 🥳

I can't believe we were able to check in immediately even though we arrived early 👍 The room was clean, and the bed was actually two double beds pushed together, which was very comfortable 👍 It's near the Reef Bar 😄 The sound of the waves accompanied my dreams, very comfortable 👍 The dinner buffet was average, and the breakfast buffet was also average 😜 The staff didn't smile much 😅 But overall, it's worth visiting (it cost 490 RMB to get here by car from Liantang Port 😂)

酒店地點：酒店地點偏遠，由惠東南站打車到酒店需要45分鐘 員工服務：員工服務一般般，不主動，check out後未能call車，找員工都不肯幫忙 早餐：一般內地酒店早餐，款式多，但質素一般 房間：房間很大很新淨，而且每間房都望海景，心情舒暢悠然自得！ 酒店周邊：酒店還可以玩獨木舟和地下河道，雖然是費，但是很好玩！

During my stay at the hotel today, I unfortunately fell at the Reef Bar and my ankle became swollen and painful. Mr. Zeng, the lobby manager, immediately provided safflower oil and personally helped me apply it. He then brought crushed ice to reduce the swelling. Mr. Zeng's professionalism and care deeply moved me, and his service, which went above and beyond his duties, alleviated my physical discomfort. I would like to express my special thanks to Mr. Zeng for his excellent service. Although this trip had an unfortunate incident, I still feel the hotel's service is excellent.
