Excursão de um dia ao Jardim Botânico Hwadam, Caverna de Gwangmyeong e Vila Folclórica Coreana

A day trip that's definitely worth it! 👍 You can visit 3 attractions in one day, which is a very comfortable experience. Since the 3 tourist spots are quite far apart, it would be impossible to visit them all in one day if you arranged it yourself, so joining a day tour is an excellent choice! 👍 Gwangmyeong Cave is a very special place. You can walk deep into the cave, which is worth experiencing. It was my first time making ice cream, and it was a pleasant surprise and tasted delicious. It turns out it's not that difficult to make! 👏 You can feed the sheep, and they are very cute and obedient. The farm scenery is beautiful! 👍 Hwadam Botanic Garden, a place I've always wanted to visit, is incredibly beautiful. This time, I specifically came in autumn to admire the beautiful red leaves, and it was well worth the trip. If the visiting time could be longer, it would be a more comfortable walk, as this time it was a brisk walk to make it back to the bus on time. 😆 Seeing the beautiful scenery was very satisfying! 🎉

The itinerary was well-planned. First, we visited the Tan and Botanical Garden, then the Folk Culture Village. Upon arriving at the village, after finishing our meal, the first performance began immediately, so there was no wasted time waiting for the show. Afterwards, we had free time to explore, and at 4:00 PM, the second performance started. It was excellent and beautiful. The houses of the villagers, from the poor to the wealthy, each had their own unique characteristics. It's definitely worth a visit.

The favorite part of the itinerary was Hwadam Forest. Hwadam Forest was beautiful, and our driver-guide gave us plenty of time there, enough to queue for the park shuttle and explore. The ice cream experience was also great; it was my first time making ice cream myself, and the chocolate flavor was delicious. Gwangmyeong Cave was quite cold inside, so it's a good idea to bring a light jacket. If you haven't been, it's worth visiting once, though it didn't offer many surprises. The red wine inside was very good, and I wanted to take some home, but I gave up on the idea due to baggage restrictions. We set off as a small group that day. Our driver-guide, Mr. Nan, is Chinese and speaks Mandarin. The six-seater car was very new and spacious, and the driver-guide's driving skills were excellent, allowing me to sleep soundly throughout the journey. The driver-guide took great care of every group member, helping us take photos, recommending Seoul delicacies, and introducing attractions. Thank you for giving us a very pleasant trip.

The tour guide was excellent, arriving at the meeting point half an hour before the scheduled time and proactively helping us take photos. The first attraction we visited was Hwadam Forest. Fortunately, this year's autumn leaves turned red later than usual, so the scenery at Hwadam Forest in mid-to-late November was beautiful. It was a pity we couldn't get cable car tickets to go up the mountain, but we had enough time to walk the entire route ourselves. The second attraction, Gwangmyeong Cave, is said to be one of Korea's top 100 scenic spots, but it felt more artificial. If you've visited some natural caves in Southeast Asia, this place might feel rather ordinary, but it holds more historical significance for Koreans.

I definitely missed the peak of the foliage but it was still a pleasant visit. Autumn really is best experienced in a place like Hwadam Sup. The transfer was quite comfortable and even though the guide spoke minimal English, it was still a smooth transaction. The cave visit was also an interesting experience.

Hwadamsup was great. I didn't get to ride the monorail because the tickets were sold out. Gwangmyeong Cave was interesting because it was a new place for me. I saw cute children at the ranch. We arrived back in Myeongdong around 7:30 PM instead of 5:00 PM.

One of my favorites! Booked this during the autumn season - I hope I can come back soon and stay a little longer! I loved the place, our guide is friendly and contacts us via Viber. Loved it!

Our tour was adjusted to be from Hwadam Forest to Seoul Folk Village. However, it turned out to be great because we got to explore the SFV and even though many of the small exhibit stalls were not open due to winter time, the performance at the circle area (designated timings for the performance, so don’t miss it! 😊) was great. It’s a beautiful place if you’re looking for a glimpse of traditional Korean culture and history (and nice photograph backgrounds!!) 👍🏻 Gwangmyeong Cave was interesting and eye-opening because rarely do you get to explore an old mine-turned-cave place. Definitely was a great experience but do be aware that there is quite A BIT of stairs to climb because of how extensive the cave can be. Therefore, if you have knee/leg injury/elderly folk, do be careful and don’t move too quickly because it can be a little slippery at some areas! 😊 Lastly, ice cream making experience needless to say was just fun and it is a first time for me to make ice cream from just milk and ice (and a bit of effort 🤣) so if you want to have some small bonding with your friends/family it is a good opportunity! Apart from that, you get to feed some sheep too and snap some nice photos! Only drawback is that the place can seem a bit out of the way but.. does it matter when you’re being transported there anyway? 😜 Overall, good recommendation!

We went too early, and the maple leaves hadn't turned red yet, which was a bit disappointing. However, I highly recommend joining a day tour for this place because transportation is not very convenient. Even though we didn't see the maple leaves turn red, the scenery within the park was still very beautiful.
