The entrance proudly displays a Guinness World Record for the largest science and technology museum. The ticket price is a very reasonable 60 yuan, and the museum is huge, divided into many halls where you can spend an entire day. It offers significantly better value than amusement parks that cost hundreds of yuan.

The process of getting the tickets was really easy and smooth without hiccups. The exhibitions were not exotic though, quite plain exhibits that allow kids to develop their interests in science through various hands-on activities, but without outstanding theme that may wow the adults. I've been to quite some science centers, and this is not on the top of my list. Many exhibits were upgrading or broken, same goes to several halls being shut down. Nevertheless, my husband and I still spent a whole afternoon there enjoying ourselves. We went on a weekday and there weren't many people, allowing ample time to visit and enjoy all the available exhibits.

This place is meant for families with children. It's very far from the city. We went during a low season, so the massive center seemed empty. Some of the interactive stations were broken. The workers were friendly and nice, which made our experience a pleasant one.

Klook booking is the best! Just go to the counter to redeem your printed ticket by showing the voucher. The Science Center has different areas for kids and adults, and my daughter enjoyed it a lot. We were lucky that there weren't many people around during our visit.

There are 5 main exhibition halls: the Reality and Discovery Hall, the Nature Exploration Hall, the Transportation World Hall, the Perception and Thought Hall, and the Flight Dream Hall. Many exhibitions run once an hour, four times a day, but each session is limited to a maximum of 15 participants, so it's often difficult to get a spot. A lot of the exhibits are not maintained, so they are not functional. The ticket exchange process is convenient; you just need to scan the QR code at the designated machine. Transportation is inconvenient, requiring several subway transfers.

It's superb! I brought my two kids, aged 2 and 5, for this visit. They enjoyed themselves and had fun. We went there a week after China's Golden Week, so it wasn't too crowded. Although it's about an hour's travel by MRT and bus from GongYuanQian subway station, it's still worth the visit. Recommended for those traveling with kids.
