Ka Atelier - Workshop de Pintura de Bules de Chá Chineses | Wan Chai

Facilitator, Caroline, was patient, friendly and clear in her instructions. We were all beginners, thus worried and sceptical whether we could complete the workshop successfully. We did it with her guidance and left feeling accomplished and proud of ourselves! Kudos to Carole for being so wonderfully kind to us!

We enjoyed the experience so much! It provides a very comfortable and relaxing environment for the participants to learn! The teacher is also very nice and encouraging! We will definitely recommend it to others!

We had a great time at the workshop. The introduction was great. Carol explained and showed all of the process but also about the “culture” behind the Chinese painting and in our case about decorating the tea pot. With great care and patience she guided us to a result we were all proud of. It is a great workshop to colour your visit to a thriving and dynamic city as Hong Kong. In the middle of that dynamic you’ll find KA-Atelier in the trendy Star Street-area. It was “so Hong Kong” and yet a great break from the hectic life. It actually helped to tell and understand the Chinese culture! And all guided in a great atmosphere with tea, great classical music and an excellent teacher. And suitable for our youngest of 11 years

Es una buena pero muy breve introducción a la pintura china combinada con estilos occidentales. Se asegurarán de que te vayas a casa con una tetera que te guste, decorada por ti mismo. Cuando estuve allí, había más gente en la sala trabajando en diferentes proyectos, así que tuve que compartir el tiempo y la atención de los instructores. No es gran cosa, de todos modos, obtuve el tiempo que necesitaba para terminar el proyecto. Una gran experiencia, y se la recomiendo a mis amigos, pero no esperes aprender mucho sobre la pintura china en sí. Obviamente, necesitas mucho más tiempo para eso.

The venue and instructor are marvellous- calming, esthetic and peaceful. The history of Chinese painting and methodology were provided in a clear and fascinating way. Stunning pieces also available on-site which for me as porcelain and ceramic collector were so interesting. The workshop was done beatifully with delicious tea and all required equipment ready.

It was so fun! Great for beginners too. There was enough guidance and also space for us to create our own version of teapots! Would definitely recommend it!

The environment is elegant, and the instructor explained everything clearly and meticulously. As a beginner, I was so happy to paint plum blossoms for the first time. Two hours really flew by, and completing the artwork gave me a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.

The atmosphere was good. The instructor was kind. It is a good enjoyment for those who like indoor activities and Chinese art. The teaching is step by step, so even if one has no drawing background, he or she can still complete a picture.

It's a great discount event, the instructor arrangement is excellent, and the work is also beautiful.

This activity is suitable for beginners or those without an art background. The instructor will prepare patterns for participants to practice and reference, and will do their best to teach and assist participants in completing their creations. The creative environment is comfortable and relaxed, and the process is enjoyable 😉😉
